Great looking watch. Just way too small for the bigger gentleman in both watch face and wrist strap. . Would have have liked ur if it was the size of the xl/king range. I prefer this style. Jus doesn’t come big enuff.

A good watch.

I have this and it's a really nice watch. Wears slimmer then a normal Gshock. I would buy again. But my only downside with the watch is I have a 7 inch wrist and the strap comes up shorter for some strange reason. If you have a seven and a half inch wrist you maybe want a watch with longer straps or end up changing the straps or mod it out with a sliver mod kit. Which I'll do one day if it yellows quite badly. But other than that it's a cool watch and works well under cuffs.

I call it the G-HOST Shock !

Great watch ! Looks Fantastic definitely a conversation starter .The watch was sold out everywhere but luckily went onto the Casio Uk website . I have a big wrist and generally am used to wearing bigger watches at first I was a little taken a back as this is a fairly small watch however all that changed as I started to wear it on a regular. As this watch snubs a good low profile plus its easier to wear a jacket for long period without me feeling uncomfortable. A must have in ones collection !

I found setting the time

I found setting the time when it arrived impossible. Eventually a neighbour managed to do it for me but found it difficult. I went on holiday to Greece and couldn't not change to local time yet when I returned it reset itself to 40 minutes out of GMT. I have tried, my neighbour has tried and my cousin - who owns a GShock has tried. None of us can do it. So my watch does not display an accurate time therefore it is useless. Like a fool I discarded the packaging etc and I have not had the time yet to figure out how to return it. But I won't buy another. Casio here I come.

It’s a great watch, great

It’s a great watch, great fit looks nice and the service was quick. The only problem I had being this the first G shock I’ve ever bought the manual on how to set it up was shocking so I had to go on YouTube other than that it was great. The features from the digital to the analog clock are great.

Love the watch, yellowed badly

I have had the watch about 6 months. Loved it. It has turned yellow however, and is no longer a nice crystal clear colour. I will most likely have to mod it.

Lovely watch.

Great looking watch, I have the skeleton colourway, and looks good as a casual watch, or when dressed smartly. Very light on the wrist, and smaller that most G shocks, not a military styled watch, so it doesn't feel like I need to be charging through a jungle firing off rounds at unfortunate natives, to be able to wear one. One star deducted only because due to the dark watch face, in lower light it becomes more difficult to see the digital data, without using the on board light. Smallish gripe, but just due to my aging eyes no doubt. Enjoy your watch :)

On line puchase and the dangers of

More than happy with John Lewis service. Good price delivered no problems. Big but coming. But I purchased this without seeing it in real life. First setting time and date is a nightmare. Instructions too complicated but managed to do it using a you tube tutorial. So not the end of the world because now its set. Quite like the watch but the digital time and date bottom right is impossible for me to read. Of course, I would have known this if I had gone and looked at it somewhere. I suspect John Lewis would have given me a refund but I feel they have done nothing wrong. So now my 12-year-old grandson is the proud owner of a new watch. Bottom line if you fancy one, my advice go and look at it first.

Substandard looks and strap

Hi all, I purchased this watch for my father in law as a small gift for landing his first grad job. Sadly when it arrived I was quite unhappy with the quality of the strap, it feels like very cheap childlike plastic. Like the plastic you'd find on a child's watch.I know this isn't a super expensive watch but I expected it to have a strap more similar to a resin strap on the steel series and others. These feel much more solid and of higher quality.However, I did really like the face of the watch. Looked 'clean and simple'. Just the strap that lets it down unfortunately. I have since returned the watch.
