When Castelli engineered the first aero jersey for road racing back in 2006, everyone thought they were crazy. Back then, aero was only for TTs. Performance clothing meant moisture management. And you could win the Tour de France with a baggy jersey that was little more than a polyester T-shirt. Even their aerodynamic consultants expected limited gains, so they named the jersey Split Second, though, like now, they thought even small gains were worth pursuing. In the end the gains were pretty substantial, and they completely revolutionized the look of the pro peloton. Castelli are now on the sixth major revision of their aero jersey. Each generation has become more aero and better fitting. The Aero Race 6.0 benefits heavily from CFD analysis of wake flow in the riding position for fabric and seam placement. It also benefits from pro riders’ feedback, as they’ve worked to make the jersey comfortable for their long hours of training and then racing in every possible weather condition. It’s their most aero and most comfortable Aero Race Jersey yet.

Great aero fit. Quality materials. Nice sleeve length, to the elbow. For me Castelli sizing is normal. If you have a dad bod, size up. 5'8", 30 waist, 36 chest. Size small is perfect.

Mixed feelings about this jersey. It weigh two-thirds of the Race 4.0 and has a sheer back, allowing sunburned back. It's great on really hot summer days (with extra sunblock), but not so great in temps below 80F, IMHO. The aero (short) sleeves are nice though.

Aero and cooling built into one Jersey. Race fit and looks good. Sadly I wanted another colour but it was out of stock. Really love this jersey and would definitely get another

I love my Aero Race 6.0 - dark infinity blue jersey for its comfort and race fit, so i ordered this year's version in saville blue / pro red. unf, this jersey fits a size larger than the same jersey from last season, not the race fit i was looking for. that said, fit is personal, so if you found last year's version tight, this might be a great fit for you.
Already had a couple in other colors, one of my favorite two jerseys with great fit, aero and good in variety of temps (the other being Castelli climber SL for very hot days). Savile Blue Pro Red color looks very nice, goes great with dark blue bibs. 1.77m, ~66kg, size M.
Jersey is perfect. Really slim fit. Please note that sleeves in size S can be very narrow. But they stretch a little if you put them on any cylinder thicker than your arm for a while.
Had several Castelli jerseys and this is certainly the tighter fitting (though others are not aero race models) but its nothing silly as some others suggest. I’m 63kg, 173cm and went for a small. Could have actually gone for an XS if wanting a truly aero fit. Colour of the dark blue was great- like a petrol colour. Sleeves are on the long side so be careful with sizing up.
It is race fit and looks really good, I wish they have my size in another color at the same price. I have previously purchased various Castelli jerseys but looked for comfort, hence sized up 2 sizes (XXL) from my normal size (L) and some were fitting loosely. This time I wanted something more like a second skin, so I went for the size XL (despite the chart suggest size L) and fits me like a glove. For your reference, I am 177 cm height and 85 kg weight with pant size 34.
Another excellent addition to the wardrobe- with racing cut yet comfortable enough that you forget about it during the ride.Good pocket capacity.Very attractive blue / black fade and detailing - a pleasure to wear.Zips are smooth and easy to mount on the bike.Jersey doesn’t shift around during the ride.Only one thing worth bearing in mind is the sleeve length which is on the longer side (more aero).
Great fitting jersey. Very comfortable. Wicks sweat well. Good size pockets. Love Castelli gear. Tried Rapha, Le Col etc but always come back to Castelli. Size small fits perfectly. I'm 173cm and 67kgs. Skinny cyclist.
