Fantastic jacket for c. 7 - 15 degrees Celsius. Even doing hill repeats the jacket was cool going up and kept the wind out going down and kept me warm as the temperature dropped as sunset. I also bought the Castelli Alpha RoS jacket which is great for temperatures below 7 degrees. I used 365Rider to acquire both and the service was quicker than the UK sites for delivery to Ireland. Highly recommend

This is a close fitting, lightweight jacket ideal for spring and autumn. They come up tiny- a real race fit cut- so sizing up is essential. Ideally worn over a thin base layer, I would advise ideal for temperatures from 8-13/14 degrees would be my advice. It does fold/roll up quite small, so in theory might just be able to squeeze into a back pocket, but it would be quite tight.

I brought this to supplement my riding gear, I had a heavy jacket but nothing for spring, this fits the bill perfectly, I’m at a comfortable temperature with the option of rolling this up and stowing it in a pocket if I want to.
This felt like a great quality Rain proof jacket but I could not even get it up my arms! It was soo small even though I had ordered an XL.
Just classy, light and perfect for changeable weather
Product with high quality of manufacture, light and effective for use on the coldest days of spring or autumn.
Surprising Castelli jacket, despite being very thin and light, you don't get cold at all, in the recommended temperature range. Combining it with different thermals and / or third layers gives you a brutal range of use. Very tight, feels like a glove.
Spectacular jacket for conditions here in the NE of Scotland. Mesh base layer plus jacket enough to make me comfortable on bitingly cold days. Nice and stretchy and very well put together.
been using this jacket throughout spring, it's juts right for changeable weather, just add a base layer or Gillet if I gets cooler.
Making the transition from riding in warm weather to riding in cold weather can be a challenge. In the summer, a cyclist dresses lightly-- lightweight, well ventilated short sleeve jersey and shorts. Yet as the weather changes, cycling gear must also change. In cooler weather, you need a jersey made with sleeves and a warmer fabric. The cool weather riding jersey can feel like it weighs you down and restricts movement. Castelli has fixed the problem with the Beta Rain or Shine Jacket that provides what you need for cooler, wet weather; bulk is eliminated while sweat evaporates quickly. The Polartec NeoShell 4-way-stretch fabric on the front is Castelli’s lightest and most stretchy fabric on the cycling clothing production line. The fabric blocks wind and water but ventilation designed into the fabric keeps you from overheating as the pace of the peloton picks up. On the back, the Nano Flex Light woven fabric has the same features, it covers you while also ventilating your body. Added treatment also creates a surface for water to roll off. You don’t overheat while moisture rolls off and sweat evaporates. Extra ventilation is made possible by the easy to open YKK Vislon zipper. When it gets warmer and the intensity of the ride goes up, unzip the front of the Beta jacket and you will cool down. The stretchy fabric in the long sleeve jersey is cut for a close fit. This versatile jersey is fast. Three rear pockets are easy to access and a large reflective panel at lower back increases visibility when rain clouds cover the sunlight. Three rear pockets are easy to access and a reflective stripe provides more visibility.
