Light, bright and packs down very neatly.Build quality appears to be excellent.I already have a Mavic long sleeve soft shell and a Santini gillet and only purchased this due to it being a mandatory bit of kit for the Fred Whitton. Despite my initial reservations I now regard this as being an essential part of my cycling wardrobe!I am 6'3" and 87kg and I am very happy with the fit of the XL. Whilst the overall fit is a little slacker than I had hoped for (I hate slack and flappy cycling kit and prefer it all to be skin tight), it isn't flappy at all - the ultimate test being on a very windy day around the climbs of Swaledale and Wensleydale. If anything the arms are overly long but this hasn't proved to be any sort of problem and may yet prove to be just what is needed in a real downpour, allowing them to be pulled down over gloves.I have not yet used it in a proper downpour and it has been used primarily as a windbreaker in conditions between 3-8 deg. C. There was one hour long ride into soft hail that it coped with perfectly. Breathability seems excellent.I expect a garment at this price to give many years of service if cared for and my experience to date suggests it will deliver on this.

I am very pleased with this item. I am a fraction under 6ft with 35inch waist and the large size is a perfect fit over summer kit. The sleeves appear long , but work well when stretched out on the bike. The elasticted hem is excellent, holds the jacket down well, and it goes right down at the back. Good quality zip pulls the collar right up around the neck. Cuffs are firmly elasticated. It holds the rain off very well and is exceptionally breathable. I started in rain the other day, and kept the jacket on to stay warm, and did the remaining 50k without sweating up inside, something my old jacket would not have achieved. Folds down into a back pocket; just. Not cheap, but I would say this is value for money. Build quality seems excellent.

Bought this a few weeks ago as we’re having a very English summer this year! Fantastic jacket, very lightweight and folds away into jersey pocket very easily. Great at keeping the water out. Very windproof too so great to have on over a summer jersey if the wind gets a bit chilly.

This is the second time I've bought one of these. This new version has a slightly different zip that unzips easily when going downhill fast if the jacket is slightly open and catches the wind.Fit is small as standard for castelli.Super bright and light. Does the job.
Packs down very small, easily fitting into a jersey pocket with room to spare. Have not yet experienced a downpour in this but light rain does not get through. Outside fabric is textured so different from most jackets I own. Don’t know if I like that yet. Being shorter At 5’7” I do like the sleeve breaks to roll under the extra fabric. As with all Castelli, size up. Normally wear a Med in Sugoi and this large fits me just right.
This is a great, waterproof, lightweight breathable jacket. It fits rather trim--not quite "race" tight, but sleek so the wind flapping on the arms is not bad at all.I especially appreciate the fairly snug waste band and extended back that actually covers my bum unlike some "performance" jackets. The back is not as long as a commuter, jacket, however.Yellow is VERY bright.Regarding fit: this fits a bit more normally than most Castelli stuff. I usually wear M sizes in other brands, but L or XL in Castelli tops. This I got in L and it's a great fit for me at 5'10" and 165 lbs.
This is a great jacket. Very lightweight and certainly keeps the rain away. But I also use it when it's chilly as I find it keeps me warm e.g. base layer + Perfetto RoS + Emergency Rain Jacket. I usually wear Castelli M but chose L for this. Highly recommended.
This is a nice cycling jacket. It has vents where you want them, it's very light weight, the hem has a gripper so it won't ride up, and it packs away really well. The orange colour is great for visibility, very bright. I was really looking forward to wearing this jacket.Unfortunately, it has to go back. I'm 6 ft tall and 205 lbs with an athletic build, and carefully measured out that I've got a 110 cm chest. While I usually get an L for MEC sized shirts, I ordered the XXL for this jacket based on the sizing chart. The torso length is good, arm length is good, and room in the waist is all great. Unfortunately, I can't put my arms out wide without feeling like my chest will burst from the jacket.I'd recommend sizing up from the measurements that MEC lists, (which ... MoreThis is a nice cycling jacket. Be aware that the sizing chart is not correct.
I'm a relatively large male, I'm 6' and about 185-195lbs. I have a pretty muscular/large chest. The jacket is tiny on me, I got an XL and I almost exclusively get Large stuff normally... It's very small on me. The design is strange in that the back of the jacket goes down to my rear, but the front goes to my belly button? The fitment is very awkward. It's also incredibly small around the chest area. Small enough that I can't move my arms back behind me or I feel like I will rip the jacket. I have to zip the jacket up below my pectorals or I can't move my hands behind my back haha...Overall I am very dissatisfied with the jacket, if it fit better I would be very happy with it, but that's not the case unfortunately... I'm a size 10-12 female and bought this mens jacket in size M in yellow, since the womens equivalent is extortionately priced and has very limited choice. It fits ok on me, a little loose on the top and a little snug on the waist. I can live with it since it's only an outer layer. The annoying thing with this particular model is that there are no exterior pockets on it, hence the 3 stars. I actually dropped my phone and the screen cracked while trying to carry my bike to the train platform. So yeah....pockets are an essential! After that ordeal dealing with the faff of unzipping the jacket to get to the cycling jersey rear pockets is my new routine.
