The Castelli Prologo 7 Jersey is not meant for the high-end racer or someone trying to break new Strava records. The Prologo 7 simply feels amazingly comfortable with a neutral cut and very soft fabric. It’s designed for the cyclist who just loves to ride his bike and wants to feel great on every ride. While not a race cut, it certainly doesn’t flap in the wind. The high-stretch micro-piqué fabric fits more shapes than a Castelli race jersey. Four-way stretch sleeves fit perfectly without restrictions. One of Castelli’s most recent features that improves comfort while maximizing on aerodynamics is the raw-cut sleeve ending that never constricts. The main body is rated at UPF 50 while the sleeves are UPF 30 which means they still block 97% of damaging sun rays. Castelli’s drop-pocket design places the rear pockets lower on the back for easier access, and they won’t bounce around when loaded with food bars. When it temperatures rise, it’s easy to unzip the YKK Vislon zipper to let in cooling breeze. Reflective details on both sides of pocket illuminate making a cyclist more visible on low lit days.
