Have used this oil for both my BMW and Mercedes. The oil seems to keep the engine very clean and smooth running.No sign of any sludge. Oil is also recommended by both BMW and Mercedes and meets their specifications. Highly recommended.

I have used Castrol oils exclusively for over 40 years of fast driving and motor sport and have never suffered a failure in engine lubrication. I now use Castrol Edge exclusively in my VW Golf R which has now covered 110,000 km without any problems.
Manufacturer Recommended specification for my car too keep everything topped up and running as it should
car performs great. .starts better in winter .recommend this product.
