Suitable for the Commodores V6 motors just not for VZ onwards. Can 20w-50 if you think the older engine needs it but il needs to flow and this is the right oil where they are happy enough when changed every 5,000kms not every 10,000kms just letting you know.

Car didn't blow up. Seems to like it. But then again I was also a fan of the $1 top up bottles you used to be able to buy at the servo so what would I know. I have a 1996 BMW 328i and the oil works just fine in my lil red car Vroom Vroom! FYI, The 318i same model won Bathurst. Soooo yeah. It's bona fide Bathurst oil!

It's my personal opinion, based on my experience and observations, that older Toyota petrol vehicles (i.e. Camry 1997-2002, Corolla 2002-2007) perform very well using this oil. This product is the replacement of the Castrol GTX 3 motor oil... the former product in the red-coloured container. This product has very similar specifications to that of GTX Professional 15W-40 used by many quality workshops and dealerships across Australia. It’s a well-priced oil for those who change their oil regularly and intend on using a good quality motor oil at a reasonable price. Always refer to your manufacturer's handbook for recommended oil specification and viscosity.

Purchased 10 litres of oil on-line. The best thing was I was still able to access the special as it was closing time. I made a substantial saving. Thanks Super Cheap
Great product. Known brand and top quality. Suited my needs perfectly. Price was great also.
Excellent product, I used to use Penrite oils before I tried castrol GTX Ultraclean, and I have never looked back. I just sense the motor feels like it’s more happy and it’s more than just oil, it’s the perfect recipe for 15w/40. Especially with the motors running kilometres with few hundred thousands. Would definitely 100% recommend this product and most certainly combining a trusted Rycooil filter. Thanks again super cheap auto for your prices when on sale. Keep up the great work.
My 2006 Toyota Corolla spare car that has been with us since new, started using a bit of oil with the Magnatec 10/40 oil I was using previously. I changed to using GTX UltraClean 15/40 and the last couple of services there has been no oil loss at all. This oil seems to be better for older cars with moderate Km's
Most Service Stations have given up on supplying oil in quantities for DIY owners. This seems to be now the recommended oil for older cars. Supercheap also accept the old oil for recycling.
I use this in my military land rovers for engine, gearbox, and transfer case. In part due to the perpensity for gearbox and transfer to share oil, bit I add some teflon additive. These old boxes don't like gear oil as it can damage the oil pump and synchros.9 years on and no issue.
This is what I ordered but what was supplied was Castrol GTX Diesel 15W-40. After checking with Castrol they said this would be Ok and meets or exceeds the specification and will be fine in my dedicated LPG engine
