Bargain priced oil for small engines

Works well, seems to keep the engine lubricated as no lights have popped on the dash. A weekly check on the dipstick shows the lovely honey colour still and no extra used. When on sale for under $30, this is fantastic value to us at home mid-service change blokes.

I Like Castrol and INOX

I have used Castrol since I bought my first car in 1960 and would recommend this to all. I use it to top up my 2006 Pajero Exceed between services. I live in the Gap and bought the oil and Inox Spray Oil at the Keperra Supercheap. I use Inox to lubricate and preserve my Winchester shotguns and strongly recommend it.

Lives up to it's name

Magnatec 10w 30 have given me a much better than expected fuel economy. I was consistently using 11lts per 100km with other oils. With Castrol Magnatec 10w30, it is down to 9/9.5lts per 100. This is mixed highway and suburban driving and I'm the only driver. Also when changing the oil every 6 mths or 10,000kms, the oil flows as liquid. No lumps, no chunks. That is good especially when the car has a turbocharger.

Small engine oils

Bought for a petrol generator, hence the choice of a molecular oil residue matainance for a small engine valve and ring protection between the occasional use. Etosha 3500 watt (3.5kva) 208cc 4 stroke overhead valve, 1.1lt oil sump. (Long running time) as they used to say, "oils ain't oils". Thanks castrol your oil will give a cheaper generator a longer life expectancy.

They changed the product but not on the website!!!

Bought this on a great deal only to have a completely different oil delivered. Went in to get it changed and supposedly they've changed the packaging, but it's also a different oil. It's now an API SP but this doesn't show on the website! Unless my local super cheap is wrong, the website needs to be updated to show the correct oil

Wrong oil given on online purchase

I ordered this online, picked up the product, did the oil change and then realised I had been given 10W40 instead of 10W30. I looked at the packing slip attached and no where on there was it written what type of oil it should have been. Only place it was written was on original order.
