The recent label change from Castrol made it difficult to purchase the same oil I still had left over from My last change. But the staff member was very helpful with the confusion.

It has only been 2 weeks but my car hasn’t blown up so can’t complain. Hard to review an engine oil without a lab test. Used to use Delo400 but can’t find that in QLD anymore. I have an MN Triton with a diesel that has its roots in the 80s and 90s so don’t feel I need some super duper synthetic. I replaced the oil myself along with a Ryco filter and a mechanic checked it a week later and said it looked ‘ok’. Fairly certain this is what a lot of the Mitsi dealers use for services.

Been using Caltex Magnatec diesel since new diesel purchased in 2015. 230,000klm never misses a beat. Been cape york, kakado , simpson desert, south aussie , vic high country and heaps of general touring.

I have not yet put this in my 308,000 km Truck, but wished to say thanks for when click and collect ended with me opening Diesel 15-40 for a winter top up. The Store replaced new with ordered Magnatec. I hope starting wear is reduced by this Product, as I am already watching Oil Filter Technology. Thanks!
Castrol. Great quality Australian oil that does actually protects your engine. I won’t use anything else now. Magnatec is the oil for ALL my cars, and that’s that!! Oils ain’t Oils…
Confident from long term use that this oil works well with Toyota 78 series (2002). The vehicle has spent many years in the outback of NT and has endured extreme temperatures and terrain. The oil is changed every 6000km and after 300 000km still does not use oil. I regularly add an oil additive to help hold its’ viscosity.
I’ve used Castrol oils in my cars, motorcycles and lawn mowers for nearly 50 years and have never been disappointed with the engine protection they offer. This one’s no different. With just over 200k on our 2013 Prado it keeps the engine clean and in excellent condition and still returning excellent fuel economy.
never had any issues. all our car engines have run without fault. great oil for engines even though the write ups are not agreeing or reliable id say. We shall leave on a good note Hi ghly recommended
