I needed a white one to go with my furniture, desk, etc. I wasn't exactly sure how long, because they only come in a few standard lengths. This was perfect for the size of my office, under my desk, etc. If you need more length than that, I'd go longer.
My husband loves his video games and the internet wasn’t going as fast as he wanted it to. Once we got the cord hooked up he was so suprised by how it was so much faster. I don’t know the correct words for it but he was super happy.
