They're both 30-35lbs too, so it carries a fair bit of weight with ease. It's honestly become a bit of a favorite ride on toy around these parts. It's also perfect in the sandbox, because obviously it is. They love to load it up and dump it. We've seen no signs of wear and tear, but my girl isnt particularly rough on her toys.The basic is all plastic, which I'm not as fond of, but it does seem pretty sturdy, and well...it's still better than an all plastic toy yeah? A large dump truck with a metal bed and axles but plastic bumper and cabin. This dump truck is durable and has withstood a 4 year old loading rocks and other heavy items with no denting or noticeable scratches. The smoothness of lifting and lowering the bed is quite impressive for a toy. It is very reminiscent of actual hydraulics. The only downside is that not all of the body is metal and the wheels are plastic. Overall, a great truck.

I remember growing up with steel trucks. I love the fact that I can share something I loved with my grandsons now with the age of technology. This is a great toy to get the grandsons outside playing and away from the computers and tv's. Built very sturdy and ready to handle most anything. Will be look for other construction vehicles to add to this for them.

This massive dump truck was a big hit with my toddler. He is all about cars and trucks and he was pretty excited about this one. It seems extra Sturdy he even sits on it sometimes. I think this will be one of those toys that lasts a lifetime. Overall I would recommend. Nothing bad to say about it.
I have my son a Cat mighty steel dump truck and he has not stopped playing with it! Every day he comes home and races right to it to haul it outside to our garden to play and dig and carry his action figures. He pretends they're all on a work site like his daddy's! He preteens he's paving driveways or hauling gravel with it! He loves that the back actually tips and that he can race around with it on his knees!
