The catchy catches everything, food, toys, plates, cups, spoons! Its the best thing I purchased for my son's high chair. My son loves swiping things off his tray OVER AND OVER AGAIN whether it be food from his plate or the plate itself or toys while hanging out with mommy or daddy in the kitchen.. and THE CATCHY CATCHES IT ALL. As a first time Grammie, my daughter put this on her Christmas list. Given they had 3 dogs, why would anyone want something like this? My daughter was concerned about her dogs eating foods that are not good for them like avocado. I bit the bullet and bought it for her.We put it together, which was super simple, and put on the highchair. I was looking forward to watching this thing get used. I was around during many meals as my grand-baby was eating. I even had the pleasure of cleaning up. Let’s just say I was shocked by the amount of crumbs and such in the tray that would have otherwise been on the floor. Even the babysitter loved the catchy and she works at a daycare.

I saw this a few years ago when I started solids with my first son and thought it was an unnecessary trendy gadget... now he’s a toddler and I’m starting solids with my second there was ZERO hesitation to buy one and I’m so glad we did! It’s great for a number of reasons and so much easier to clean up the Catchy instead of the floor. Less goes to waste and it also means I can quickly put everything on the Catchy and move it away and come back to clean it up later without my toddler running through any spilled messes (a real winner for me when I’m on my own and both boys need mummy NOW). This paired with a good set of baby spoons, bibs, and a bowl that actually sticks are well worth the money to save time (and your sanity). Catchy is amazing. I was hesitant purchasing it. I felt i was wasting more money on another baby gimmick. It's not another gimmick! It's fantastic đź‘Ź I should have purchased as soon as baby started solids not 4 months later. I no longer have to clean and sterilise the floor before and after feedings, i can give baby food back straight from the catchy with ease and without constantly bending over. Clean up in simple, wipe the high chair mess into catchy, wipe catchy down, done! Its easy and simple to install, lightweight but extremely sturdy. 1000% recommend! If you have a messy eater that loves food, just get it, you can thank me later!

Yes, it was an extra step in the process, but you also have to clean the Catchy after a meal anyway, so in my mind it was the same amount of effort, just a different surface. Well, I was wrong! The Catchy does an amazing job containing all the mess into one spot - before, if baby threw some puree over his shoulder, it could end up on the floor as well as the wall, the dog, and me. Now, 99% of it ends up in the Catchy (with just the odd thing ricocheting out if he's really put some muscle into it). When it was time to start my second child on solids, I kept thinking of the mess that my first made when he started. I was trying very hard to think of ways to contain the mess and also deal with the headache of thrown utensils every meal and having to clean it because it would touch the floor.
