I've found that I honestly look forward to applying this in the morning simply because I know that my skin is still going to feel great even many hours later.My only real gripe with the product is the scent. I had thought that it would smell like fig, as the name would suggest, but it absolutely doesn't. It literally just smells like grape seed oil and to be perfectly honest, the scent really isn't very pleasant. I always end up trying to camouflage the smell with a body spray, perfume, etc because I really don't like how it smells on its own. I otherwise really like the product itself so I'm willing to overlook this one negative aspect, especially since it's something that I can work around.Keep in mind that this is a pricey oil and that's definitely something to consider before actually purchasing it because using this every day for very much of the body is going to make it run out relatively quickly. I've been using (and enjoying!) it for about 2 weeks and I can already see that the oil level in the bottle has visibly gone down. However, for someone who doesn't mind the price tag lovely, luxurious feeling body oil, this should definitely be on the "to buy" list.

I got to try this Caudalie Moisturizing Fig Body Oil Elixir for free thanks to TopBox Circle but the opinions here are based on my own experiences. Firstly, the bottle with its ombre look is nice and visually appealing. Love that it is a spray and it comes out in more of a full spray than just a glob. You really only need a spray or two. It spreads very well. I like my skin to be damp but not wet when I apply this, I feel it helps lock in the post-shower skin moisture. I used three to four spritzes on each leg after shaving. After a couple hours, I noticed that my skin texture and follicle inflammation was SIGNIFICANTLY improved, and the effects lasted for about 20 hours. Because I wanted to evaluate how well this worked, I didn’t apply any moisturizers until the time I took my next shower. I was a bit crispy again by then, but I would say I was three to four times more hydrated than when I use my other moisturizer (SkinFix Resurfacing AHA/BHA Cream, which I like, but will definitely be next-level hydrating when combined with this body oil.)I don’t shave daily because it causes so much irritation, but as I’ve watched my hair grow back in, I’ve noticed less ingrowns. Areas where my skin is recovering from previous problems/blemishes (e.g. bikini line) healed much more quickly than typical and there was much less itching and irritation as it grew back in.Yes, there is a smell. I personally love it. It’s grassy and herbaceous, deep and earthy, but in my experience, it’s not overwhelming and it doesn’t last too long after the product is absorbed. The scent is likely a combination of added fragrance and a product of the herbs and seed oils they u
