I'm really disappointed that the formula has changed for this. It used to be really light, scent-free and my go-to for face suncream. My recent batch though has such a strong smell (smells almost sweaty) and if I put my makeup over top straight away, it gets really flaky. I've found I have to leave it to set in/dry for a while before doing foundation, which can be difficult on a busy morning. It's still a nice product, and I really like this brand (especially as I use their moisturiser too), but I much preferred the previous version.

Light cream with a lovely scent. Reminds me of orange blossom. But I might be wrong. I don't understand some of the reviews complaining about the scent it's lovely and not overpowering at all. Most non-fragrant sun creams have that metallic scent. I have sensitive mixed skin. Bought this one in Marseille on our holiday as I war running out on Korean cream which was 3 times the price but just didn't deliver in most ways.

I have used this product as a general spf protection in cold weather in Ireland - Its ok as a moisturiser, takes a long time to absorb so face looks greasy in the meantime, even with just a small amount of product.I have also used on holidays in hot Italy and I did not enjoy using it at all. I have dry skin however this product sat on my skin and did not absorb well at all. It felt greasy and oily and left a horrible coat on my skin if I rubbed it. I had to buy another spf product for my face.I do not like the smell of this product. Overall, ok as spf protection in cold weather but failed miserably in hot weather.

I have used them for one week during my holiday in a really sunny place and I just love both of them! The serum has a fresh and discreet smell and it leaves my skin soo soft and hydrated. The cream applied after the serum makes my skin even softer - velvet-like, I love the sensation after applying these 2 products. They both hydrate without leaving an oily skin and I also like the fact that I don't have to be careful to not have white cream left on my face - it enters quickly into the skin without leaving marks. And I had no sunburns and no spots from the sun - my nose usually starts to peel from the sun, but not with these great ... I love this product and will be buying a full size one once my sample has run out. Since have some recent scares with sun damaged skin on my face, I have been looking for a high SPF that I can use every day to further protect and look after my skin.It's really difficult to find an SPF that's so high that sits nicely on the skin without causing problems. However, this SPF does it! It's a lightweight cream with a lovely subtle scent. Although it initially felt a tiny bit sticky, it actually sunk into my skin perfectly and was soft and dry afterwards. It sat under my make up all day no problem. This SPF has not caused me to have any break outs or congestion at all and it's an absolute winner for me. Really pleased I was able to test out this sample.
Luckily I received this for free for my honest review. I can honestly say I love this product. The texture is light and there’s a lovely gentle fragrance to it. Once smoothed onto my skin, it absorbed very quickly and left no white residue or sticky film. I used whilst I was on holiday in St Lucia and I felt very well protected from the harmful uva/uvb rays. It didn’t cause my skin to ‘sweat’ like a lot of other face creams that I’ve used before. Although I was very careful not being too exposed to the sun for too long, I was in it for longer than usual but not once did my face burn or feel dry and tight. Brilliant that it is a vegan formula too and packaging 100% recyclable. Thank you for introducing me to this great product Caudalie!

It has the signature Caudalie scent which I wasn’t super excited about as the fluid does not have the fragrance, but it didn’t linger for more than an hour or so. I’ve noticed that I do not need a moisturizer when applying the cream, like I do when using the lightweight fluid. I was a bit hesitant to try it at first, so I am surprised to say that I see a need for both products in my routine depending on the day and what my skin needs! It has a lovely texture and no pilling even when paired with other products and it’s gives me a dewy glow that looks lovely on its own or when used under makeup. ... Overall, I'm very happy using this suncream.There's only one other on the market I use because the vast majority of suncreams do have a chemical fragrance of some sort despite all the marketing claims. The Caudalie one doesn't and in fact smells very pleasant, very mild.It is also light, moisturising, easy to apply and gives a degree of radiance to the face. It doesn't leave a white cast at all.I used it, a bit tentatively I have to say, in Australia. Australian conditions are always a test because the light and UV is much brighter and harsher than in Europe. I wouldn't have relied solely on the Caudalie cream if it had been high summer there but for cloudy conditions, it was absolutely fine.Definitely worth buying for all the reasons above.
