THEY ARE GREAT SKATES FOR THAT PRICE. MY FIRST SKATES I HAVE USED AFTER A VERY LONG TIME NOT PLAYING HOCKEY. THEY ARE VERY STABLE, VERY STIFF AND GREAT FOR MAKING TURNS AND GOING BACKWARDS. THEY ARE LESS FLEXIBLE, NOT AS FAST, BUT MORE STABLE WHEN COMPARED TO THE CHEAPEST XLS BAUER SKATES. THEY DEFINITELY KEEP YOU FROM FALLING DOWN AS THEY FEELS A BIT HEAVIER. THE NEW BLADES WERE TOO SHARP SO I HAD THEM RESHARPENED TO THE HOUSE CUT. HOWEVER, THEY ARE VERY HARD TO GET INTO AND YOU HAVE TO MUSCLE THE LACES TO TIE THEM UP GOOD. THEY LOOK VERY SHARP. I AM NOT SURE HOW LONG THEY WILL LAST, BUT THE NEXT PAIR I MAY BUY WILL BE THE CCM JETSPEED FT 475.
They were initially a little snug when I put them on, but as I skated around for an hour, they seemed to loosen up and fit quite well. Lesson learned not to wear 2 pairs of super thick socks, I can stick with one haha
They are light, come nice sharp ready to go and best of all are budget friendly i love them definitely worth every dollar

I would prefer a higher end skate but this was all that was available in Senior size 13.Not a lot of material for a customizable fit. Very stiff boot.
I bought this winter version of skates and put on (bolt on) a frame 80-80-84-84 from other skates, which din't not fit me as I wanted. They are amazing. I feel in them like in much expensive skates (I have Tour, Graf, Alkali, Tron, Bauer roller and Graf, Easton, Botas ice). This ccm one-piece boot is much better (stiffer and for energy transfer) than Bauer NSX/RSX/Dart/Score/XLP/XLS one-piece boot and approx. by 40g lighter in the same size which fit me. Next winter I will buy another as a spare.
