Well, I didn't think it through... You can't fit this bin under a shelf. It has to have enough space above for the lid to lift and let the bin out. So, I just fitted it on the cabinet door. Works fine. The fitting plastic brackets looked a bit flimsy, but work fine with enough screws to hold them. I have to open the lid by hand, but I attached a magnet to it and a steel plate to the door, so that I can keep it open if I have to.

This swing bin is value for money. It is good quality. Swing bins are great if you want your rubbish to be covered but don't need the cover to seal. The instructions for installing it are fairly basic. However, I just sat down with it and worked out how it would sit in the cupboard. A helpful tip is that the long flexible plastic piece needs to sit at least 10mm from the edge of the cupboard to accommodate the lid when you close the cupboard door. Once you work it out, it is easy to install yourself.

The bin is great. The instructions are not very clear and need more detail. I needed to utube to understand how to install it. It was challenging to install but I am really pleased with the result.

Bin arrived very quickly and we are happy so far as it only just fits into our smaller than standard size kitchen cupboard.Would have rated 5 stars but since the installation instructions are terrible I deducted 1 star. My engineer husband figured it out and installed within 2 hours after also going onto YouTube for more info.

Product is as described. Quite happy though early days. Install instructions are laughable and I have an engineering degree. But you can work it out yourself.

Handy bin

Great addition to the kitchen where we pull out our bottom draw and the bin pops out. It is kind of small so we are required to take the bin out daily.

Poor quality

I bought it and returned it. The quality of the hinge mechanism was very poor (cheap flimsy plastic). I bought one from Howards Storage World instead, much better quality.

Space saving and hidden

The perfect bin for small kitchens when you don’t want to take up precious floor space with a freestanding bin or if you don’t want your bin to be seen. I took a point off because they are a little tricky to install. Otherwise very happy with the product.
