Absolutely great quality Telescope. Lightweight and easy to move and set up, as I suffer from terrible Arthritis and can't really use my 150mm Newtonian Reflector anymore. Quick delivery and a great price too.

Good beginner telescope

I got what I expected for the price. It is a good beginner telescope. The adjustments are a little wobbly and the optics are good but not exactly professional grade. That said, we enjoy going out at night and looking at the full moons. Mine came with lots of documentation and resources. It is, like I said, a good beginner telescope. It is totally worth what I paid for it and may be a gateway into more advanced telescopes in the future.

I would up grade to a better one

It's a $80 telescope.

The good - Images appeared clear, even able to make out the lines in the gasses on Jupiter, and at lower power see three of it's moons. Our moon had impressive detail, and as it was out and very bright last night, I couldn't see details of other stars very well. Waiting untill the end of the cycle and hoping for some clear nights. The Bad - The tripod and mount are very unstable. Sometimes just adjusting focus was enough to knock Jupiter out of the sight window under high magnification. I think some tighter tolerances would have made this much more impressive for the price. Haven't had the chance to play with the Barlow lense yet, hoping for the best. All in all - Again it IS an $80 telescope and you get what you pay for. If you are only going to take it out every now and then or want to get a feel for how much use it will get, it is a good scope. If you are really into star gazing, I would spen a little more money and get a better one.
