Great weights they fit snugly on the bar and there is a collar ( brought separately) to make sure they don’t fall off. They stack really well on each other, you can make a cool pyramid if you have lots of other weights.

Great weights they fit snugly on the bar and there is a collar ( brought separately) to make sure they don’t fall off. They stack really well on each other, you can make a cool pyramid if you have lots of other weights.
Need more weight for my dumbbells. Celsius have improved the coating on these ones, much more durable. The tri grip allows you to use them like a kettle weight but makes my dumbbells a bit more cumbersome. Not so cumbersome that it hinders the movements I wish to perform. A versitile choices when you need some extra weight to throw around.

I wanted a piece of metal with a hole in it that weights 10kg and this exactly fits that description!The hole can be used to insert a metal bar, which can then be gripped with ones hands and lifted from and to various directions.It comes with three convenient grips, that allow the piece of metal to be held from three separate points on a two dimensional plane.Intrinsic to the piece of metal is the aspect of inertia that must be overcome to alter its disposition in space and time. This action when performed by a meat body repeatedly can at length result in increasing quantities of meat being formed upon the body, which is desirable in many human circles.
I am quite happy with the Celsius weight plate. I bought it for home use during corona virus lockdown and have found a large variety of exercises to perform with the plate. I didn't want a heap of weights that I probably wouldn't use again once my gym re-opens so this was a good all round choice. I can even sit some small hand weights into the handles to increase the weight above the 10kg it already has. I find the grips are good and my hands don't slip around when exercising. All in all, a good purchase to keep me active while at home.
I will have to return these. The width of the hole is too narrow by just 2mm, and none of my pre-existing bars (Olympus and Magnum) will fit. I thought this was not an issue and this dimension was as globally universal as a USB port or headphone socket - obviously not! WARNING - Bring your bar into the store to check if these fit before purchasing.
I saw something about the riddle of steel in Conan the Barbarian. That's irrelevant in this instance as these plates are cast iron. Do I know the riddle of cast iron? No. But I do know that these plates are pretty good for standard bar weight plates. Needed some additional weight for the standard bar and everything I saw second hand looked as rusted as the wreck of the Titanic (relevant given the last couple of weeks) so thought I'd buy some new. Haven't weighed them to see if they are 10kgs as advertised but my guess is they would be spot on.... but now that I'm thinking about it.... so I've been ripped off .05kg. That margin of error might be the scales though so I'm not going to be a male Karen and kick up a fuss about something so trivial. First off, please make sure you read the description before purchasing, it is for 25mm barbells! Please don't try to fit it onto a 28mm or Olympic (50mm) barbell.With that out the way: the weight plate initially seems pricey for cast Iron but it is coated which makes it more resistant to shattering, and more resistant to water compared to bare cast iron. With that said however, please don't go slamming these weights around, or drop them on a deadlift unless you have something protecting the floor (no weights are designed for that). These plates seem durable enough that I can see them lasting decades, if not the rest of my life, if you treat them well.That the plates are Tri Grip makes them convenient and great for a variety of exercises on their own off the barbell. Farmers walks, Weighted Crunches, Overhead Press, Lateral Raises, Front Shoulder Raises, you can even curl with them (This is by no means an exhaustive list of the exercises you can do with these plates).If you weigh these plates, you may find they actually weigh a little more than 10kg, likely because of the coating, which isn't that bad. The great thing, however, is that all (of the six 10kg plates I purchased) weight plates are incredibly similar in weight, with a negligible amount of deviancy (which is quality you would expect from much more expensive weights).((Wait, why is this important?))Well, cheaper cast iron tends to have a problem with deviancy, some plates weigh significantly less, and some weigh significantly more than the weight they are meant to be. The differences in weight can add up and cause injury if one side becomes heavier.However, will all of the plates I've bought from Rebel, there doesn't appear to be any outstanding issues of weight deviance. With that said, there is a possibility I may have lucked out with the plethora of plates I've purchased from Rebel, but I doubt this is the case and I like to believe the quality is consistent among Rebel plates.If you're looking for a little higher quality weight plates at a good price range, I cannot recommend these enough. If you'll stick with a 25mm barbell then go for these (buy nice or buy twice), because if you look after these plates they will look after you.
Great weight for exercise and made well. versatile use with its construction allows it to be used in various ways. I love it.
