These weights are perfect. I use them in my Pilates classes and although they are only 1kg per hand, they can dramatically change the intensity of an exercise. It's great that they aren't pink too - there's nothing girly about adding these in the abdominal series! Ouchie!! I use a natural spray cleaner from Bosistos to keep them hygienic between sessions - so far so good with that, it doesn't seem to damage the coating.

Great sets of dumbells. I've had 3 pairs of light ones for a few years now - they are wearing well. I've recently bought some of the heavier ones. Great grip and lovely mix of colours. Enjoying using them all on my new balcony home gym.

I am getting quite a little collection of these weights... not the same weight of course, but in different "colours"! These weights are brilliant; the coating makes it easier to hold (particularly if you have grip issues etc) and, what is clearly more important, they look good sitting on a little shelf in the exercise room of your choice... all those pretty colours, side-by-side! I would not recommend dropping them to test either floor resilience or indeed the resilience of the dumbbell itself because I imagine the dumbbell would be okay, but your floors, not so much... easy to use, easy to maintain, yep - these are a winner!

I was tossing up between these and the iron hex dumbbells. I'm really happy with these ones, they're less slippery and painful than holding metal and they're very convenient. Over time, I hope to get some other weights for other kinds of workouts. Even if 5kg is a bit light for one thing, you can do more reps or harder movements.
Very red, totally 8kg heavy. If you want less than 8kg weights don’t get these. If you want heavier than 8kg, you too, should not get these. These weights are for those who want exactly 8kg of weight, and in red (or maybe you’re colour blind, so the red colour doesn’t matter so much)
This is a really good quality, easy to use dumbbell. It feels good and isn't too rough or too smooth. It doesn't slip even when my hands get slippery. It doesn't roll.The only thing is I have small hands, so it can get difficult to keep a firm grip on the handles. The lighter weights were fine, but this one is a little thicker so harder for me to keep holding onto.

I have found these 1kg dumbbells to be just what I need. The outer coating makes them easy to handle and the bright happy colour makes me feel good when I use them.Ikg seems ridiculously low weight but when recovering fitness and having been a high achiever in the past I felt, even at 83yo, I would probably try to achieve too much to quickly and end up walking away. So decided to build up my strength gradually with a programme I can be relaxed with and enjoy. It's working and it won't be too long before l'Il move on to 2kgs. Small steps!
