I am 56 y.o., and just started weight training last March of this year. Very glad of my sudden transformation, and with this Celsius 9kg db, i am able to transition to a heavier weight within my physical ability, to increase my chest size by doing floor shoulder and chest presses, overtime i will be increasing this hopefully to 12kg and i wouldn' t hesitate to purchase Celsius DBs. Mind you, i started with Celsius 2kg, then 4, then 7 for biceps, then another 9 for heavy, and recently 5kg for flyes!

I already had other sizes of these dumbbells so these were additions. These are great quality, the handles do tend to go a bit rusty over time although some that I use almost daily still look new while it's matching partner looks a bit rusty, not sure how that works but it's to be expected I think. Love the hex shape so that they don't roll. You can stack them vertically on top of each other if needed to save space. They look nice. The handles are comfortable (I am an average/small sized female).

These dumbells are good quality and match those i have at home already (I'm building quite a collection). Rebel had them for a great price! I drove across town and they were ready within an hour of me placing a click-and-collect. This made me way happier with the product, as I had a great shopping experience. Would definitely recommend these :)
Great quality and price. The chrome grip is sturdy and comfortable, and the weights feel balanced. The 3kg weight is perfect for the shoulder exercises prescribed by my physio.
I bought pairs of a few different sizes for the home gym during a recent sale. Handle is comfortable and decent thickness. I already had an incline bench. Now I need a dumbbell rack.
Actually I ended up buying the pair of 20kg and also a pair of 25kg Celsius dumbbells. Perfect for curls, incline press etc on a Celsius adjustable bench. They complement the other 3,4,5,6,7,8,10 kg dumbbells which my wife & I have set up as a home gym complete with rowing machine. The chrome handles are the right thickness and the hexagonal rubber dumbbells protect the floor. Perfect for my workout.
These may look pretty and certainly function as they should, they're just weights! But the smell that comes off of these things is UNGODLY! I put these in my cupboard after I got them home from the Post Office, (NO delivery attempt was made by the delivery agent, so I had to collect them from a mail centre which ironically is within metres of the Rebel Store in Geelong). I opened my cupboard and the stink that was coming off of these was awful. Like a nasty chemical, burnt rubbery smell. I've since moved them to a well ventilated area and they still stink! Not happy, Jan!

I am so stoked to use this dumbbell at my home gym. It is so versatile I can use it to do so many exercise variations at home. The only downside would be the new rubber smell, but it should go away with time when it airs out. Otherwise, it is sturdy and of good quality. Definitely recommend it!
