This is a (very) low cost model compared to other adjustable FID benches on the market. If you're on a tight budget it will do the job providing your not lifting advanced level weights. It also has a relatively small footprint, is lighter and easier to move around and store than heavier duty models. However, the low cost and light weight is reflected in the build quality. On my model the seat and back pad are a little out of alignment and overall the unit feels flimsy particularly when using in the incline position doing dumbell presses or chest supported rows for example. There is only one angle setting available in the decline position. No tools are provided for assembly, the instructions are adequate.

I purchased this only a couple of days ago from Rebel Sports online. The photos looked great and the reviews where good, but it was all down hill from there!Delivery was quite fast, but for $40 (no local stores had stock), it’d want to be. Prior to buying, I did speak with someone from Rebel’s help desk to confirm stock and they advised me that this was a top quality weight bench, one of the best available for the price range. Their words, not mine…Assembled the weight bench which was fairly straight forward. Straight away, I noticed that the B2 sticker had a large scratch in it and there were multiple scratches/scrapes in the powder coated steel.Id honestly put up with all of that though because the steel frame part of the weight bench seems to be fairly well ... MoreI purchased this only a couple of days ago from Rebel Sports online. They are EXTREMELY poorly made using inferior materials are just down right flimsy.I can see the staples that they’ve used to staple the vinyl down. They have then attempted to glue a vinyl strip over that to hide the staples, but there are certain sections that aren’t even glued at all? This strip will be lucky to stay on for 3 months if the bench is used regularly. The vinyl itself is a VERY cheap variant that seems to almost grip onto your clothes, it doesn’t allow you to slide on the bench which means that your clothes ride up if you make any kind of movement. When the bench is flat, you could almost drive a truck through the gap between the back rest and the seat part. This is extremely frustrating because it makes it almost impossible to get into a comfortable position: your backside always finds the gap.The brace section to lock your feet in while declined is poorly positioned and doesn’t extend far enough, meaning that your legs and pressed really tightly against the weight bench and you CANNOT use it, it’s simply too painful. All in all, this weight bench is a waste of money and absolute garbage. There’s so many other better options out there. If I had of been able to see this in store during none lock down times, I wouldn’t of even given it a second thought! There should be a zero star option for this review!Avoid at all costs and disregard the other reviews from people that don’t know anything about training or the gym. Even as a ‘cheaper’ home weight bench, this doesn’t cut the mustard! $270 (including freight) down the drain! Also, I’ve been shopping at Rebel Sport for years, when will I actually get anything for my loyalty points? What is the point in scanning your card or your staff asking if your a member at checkout? The person at the help desk even told me that you get absolutely nothing and that it’s only for monitoring sales/spending habits to personalise advertising? Unimpressed…

With the recent lockdowns, I was trying to find reasonably priced gym equipment to maintain a form of normalcy. I came across this bench and was sceptical at first, after putting it together I was still unsure. I did my first workout and boy did it feel good not having to use a chair. I’ve rated it 5 stairs purely from an emotional side and it does do the job, never had i been excited to put together an item. It doesn’t go fully upright in a seated position, but from a useability and cost perspective it does the job and it does it well. Make sure you have an adjustable spanner to put it together.

First bench came faulty and was rocking side to side. The second was an improvement however was not perfect. Had to pack the legs with two washes so it doesn’t rock. Also, attention to detail during manufacturing isn’t great. Paint was not applied consistent across the bench and you can see some sections where full coverage wasn’t applied. The Celsius sticker on the front legs was scratched and ripped. If used with the Celsius Full Rack, the upper legs where the headrest are hang out too far which doesn’t allow you to get close enough to the rack points on the rack making it a huge pain to un-rack and rack the bar.
I wanted to purchase this bench for my home gym when it was on a members discount of 50%. Unfortunately, all the local stores in my area were sold out. Staff took my details and said they'd call me when they received more stock and would still honour the 50% discount, even if the promotion time period was over. This all turned out to be true, I was very happy with the service because of all of the above. Now, the bench itself. Assembly was straight forward, clear instructions with no missing parts. The bench feels very solid under load, in any of the positions. The most I've used was a combined weight of 150kg on the flat setting and it didn't give in any way, no budge, twitch or squeaks. The bench feels very solid under load, in any of the positions. The most I've used was a combined weight of 150kg on the flat setting and it didn't give in any way, no budge, twitch or squeaks. I've used lighter loads on the decline, incline and vertical positions and the experience was the same. The pad is, for me, just right. It's pretty firm but has enough give so it's not uncomfortable in any way. The size of the bench isn't too large either, so storage and use in a home gym or small space is fine. This bench is versatile, very sturdy and has a pretty good weight limit. I'd say reasonable value for money at full price, fantastic value for money if you can get it on sale like I did. I'm really happy with this purchase.
Assembling it took a while. I had to get two spanners to assemble it and I also had a scare at the start when I was making sure I had all the pieces as outlined in the manual. A few of the pieces which I thought were missing were actually attached to other pieces. The break-down diagrams were also hard to read; luckily the explosive diagram was relatively helpful. In terms of use, it’s great for flat & incline workouts such as bench press, back rows, and bicep curls and even Romanian squats. But it’s not good for seated vertical shoulder presses, because the seat stops the back from reaching 90 degrees. It’s personally not a problem for me because I prefer standing shoulder presses. But a heads up for potential buyers who want to adjust the back 90 degrees to the seat.
I've had this bench for about a month now, building a home gym but didn't want to spend a whole lot on certain things such as a bench. Gets the job done. Delivery was super quick! Although when it arrived, it came with the completely wrong assembly instructions (came with the flat bench manual). Rang up my local Rebel and they were able to quickly send me a digital copy of the correct manual, so no major issue there. One thing to note, there is a slight wobble to the bench, however when using it, it is nothing major. Overall very happy with this bench!
The bench is very solid. It also looks good. There is a large range of movement/adjustment options and the adjustments are also heavy duty compared to the other benches we looked at buying. The padding on the top is also well made and seems to be heavy duty. The bench was very easy to assemble. So far, we are very happy with the purchase and would recommend this as a great buy.
Strong and sturdy, no concerns about safety with the weights I’m lifting. The adjustability is quite good and easy to change the incline. Two drawbacks: 1) the back section is a little too short for me, so I can’t rest my head on the bench when doing incline 2) no wheels on the feet, so not easy to move around. Have to pick it up, but not from the padded part as that is not fixed. So generally awkward to move.
Was tossing up buying for a few months and managed to snag it when on sale. Had no issues setting it up at home with no manufacturing blemishes or imperfections on the bench which I had seen mentioned in another review. Tested with 100kgs of weights and the bench was solid, no creaks or flexing which is good. The gap between the seat and the back support when flat is quite wide and you will have to get used to that but after a few workouts you’ll be fine.
