I bought this on sale as heard some good reviews on this brand and due to my dry sensitive skin, always looking for a body lotion suitable for myself. This comes in a 473MLs pump bottle which is great for less wastage and hygiene reasons. I found the colour of the label too much like a lot of other clinical brands, but is a good sign it is fragrance-free and stated on the bottle. The lotion itself is excactly what it described, Lightweight and oil free. I found the oil-free and very dry skin labeling conflicting so wasn’t really convinced with what I expected in results. I applied this on my face and general body area and was impressed it was totally absorbent without any residue. Result was softer skin. In fact it is excellent under make-up due to the lightness and didn’t clogg up my face like some creams. However, I don’t think it is suitable for those that have extremely dry /mature skin especially during the cold seasons I need a bit of oil/moisture to counter the dryness. That’s why I think Very Dry skin should be made in a separate bottle altogether and throw in some emollients/oil into the ingredients. Otherwise this is a great lotion for everyone and even the oily types should be suitable.

I ripped open the packaging and squirted a good amount onto my ashy hands, I then baked chocolate chip cookies because who wouldn’t. Here's my current skincare routine (although mildly inconsistent) for some background -- I have normal to dry skin that is generally clear and “good.” It only occasionally "breaks out," meaning I get a couple of pimples, usually due to poor diet, but I suffer from dark spots after pimples whether I pick at them (I usually do) or not: 1. Wash face with CeraVe Hydrating Cream to Foam (sometimes I'll start with the SA cleanser and then follow up with the Hydrating when I need to double cleanse) 2. Tone with COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid (which I don't love because it feels more like a serum than a toner) 3. I personally hate the lightweight formula because of how it leaves my skin not feeling moisturized enough. It's TOO light, like I'm putting creamy water on my face. It’s too slippery for me to comfortably Gua Sha after applying, but it also dries super fast so then I really can’t Gua Sha with just the moisturizer. Not enough moisture gets locked in, but the product itself (16 oz) lasts months (May-December for me), so I guess that's good. I'm still on the hunt for MY moisturizer. The product doesn’t seem to clog my pores, is fine in a bind, and if it's the only product you're using after washing your face, but if your skin is like mine you'll need to apply multiple layers for your skin to not feel tight. I'm assuming this prodcut works better for most people than it does for me.
