This model has no wire clampbuilt in like previous model but are better looking and rated a lotmore rms and max watts. 100 watts rms and 400 watts max.Excellent clear sound as always with cerwin vega.I have been using cerwin vega for 20+ years and never had an issue.PS: Also previous model has a lot more choices for hooking up twets,surface or counter sunk. Glad I bought 2 sets of previous model aswell.

Have had these in my 2018 Tundra rear doors for a couple month now and so far I love them, haven't really pushed them too hard yet but they have a clean sound to them and the red surround looks good in the door pannels. May try adding some pods and rings to see if it helps the bass sound but I am happy with them.
I bought those speakers for my car, I always look for kickers , but this time I want to try crewing Vega , I didn't know how was the quality for car system sound , of course I had it before for a dj sound , so the price worth it , clear sound , loud , and it doesn't distorts
Like these components so far, havent pushed them too hard yet but so far so good! One thing I didnt care for is the wire terminals as I thaught they were flimsy and bent very easily. Almost felt like the metal could break easily if not careful. Would like to see a better connector in the future. Other than that I am happy. Good clear crisp sound compared to my factory speakers. Also if you drive an 07 - 21 tundra you will have to make your own adapter for the speakers to fit. The after market adapters I found were too small in diameter for the speakers and would have to modify to make them work unless I just didnt find the right one.
I have hooked them up yet. O have another set to buy plus Mp and hook ups then install. But b I've been playing Corwin Vega since I was a kid. I would only buy Corwin Vega if you want to pound the best !!!!!
Sound Great! The only drawbacks are lack of speaker wire/connectors and no grills included which didn't effect my install into 2006 GTO. Had to enlarge openings slightly.
These speakers surprised me. Quality is usually compromised with lower priced speakers, but these appear to well built, and they sound really good. They are really clear, and can handle some power. Very pleased with my purchase.
these sound so much better than the factory-installed Bose!!! and the price is phenomenal.
