At first, I liked this product very much because its texture is fluid and absorbed very fast, also I felt that I had made a good purchase because it included hyaluronic acid, but after using it several days I realized that it is not enough. My skin needs something more moisturizing than this. At first, I used only one poof, then two poofs and considered increasing it to three poofs, but I wanted the product to last longer so I didn’t. Finally, I ended up using two poofs in the day and two at night, but I think there are better moisturizers that better fulfill their function for a reasonable price. I feel sorry because it is a good brand and its products are good, but this was not the case for me.

It's okay....... I was honestly really disappointed in this face moisturizer from Cetaphil. I got it both with and without sunscreen and it was just really watered-down feeling, smelled weird, and sat on top of my skin. I bought it when I started Accutane because of the convenient size, added SPF, and also due to my great experience with the Cetaphil cleansers. I ended up returning the first one and currently need to return this one with SPF. It made my skin look and feel so oily, didn't actually help with my dry skin much, and the smell even overpowered my perfume! I was driving with my boyfriend and we were searching for the bad smell for 20 minutes until we realized it was this moisturizer. I love Cetaphil, but I don't love this moisturizer.

Does your special someone always sneaks into your beauty corner and try to steal your skincare products? In fact, I do. My hubby always complains about his dry skin and find different excuses to use my moisturisers. Nowadays he is finally happy about owning his own face lotion - and it’s the same as mine.:) Cetaphil‘s Daily Hydration Lotion contains hyaluronic acid and strong humectants which help both of our skin stay hydrated and healthy without grease throughout the day. Waking up together and applying the same kind of skincare in front of mirror seems like one of the most romantic things for us at home. #cetaphilskincare #hypefreeskincare #lotion #hydration #moisturizer #cetaphil

Allergic Reaction
4 July 2021

I’ve never had any major issues with sensitive skin. Every now and then I’ll try an eye cream that slightly stings, but that’s it. I used this moisturizer for a couple of days, would wash my skin at night before I went to bed. After a few days, I woke up with both of my eyes almost swollen shut, bright red, so incredibly itchy. I then formed a rash on both outer corners of my eyes. My skin had also broken out for the first time in months. I stopped using this product for a week to see if it was the cause, the allergic reaction went away. I made the mistake of using it one more time. I woke up with the same exact issue again this morning. The bottle is now in the trash and I’m on the hunt for an eye cream to relieve my dry, itchy skin. And a new daily moisturizer ... MoreI’ve never had any major issues with sensitive skin. Every now and then I’ll try an eye cream that slightly stings, but that’s it. Amazing
31 July 2022

I have used Cetaphil products since my teenage years so when the new line of skincare came out, I had to try it. This is now my second bottle. I do have sensitive skin and usually, during the winter months I suffer from dry spots and my skin can get flakey and irritated. I just love the texture and the way it sits on my skin. Since incorporating this into my daily routine, my skin looks plump and hydrated and I don't feel the need to use heavier creams.

Culprit of my Irritated Skin!
7 September 2022

I recently discovered that this moisturizer was the part of my skin care routine that was irritating me. I thought it would be my new serum (versed’s new hydrating serum) or even my new toner (versed baby cheeks), as I had been using this moisturizer for years. Every time I blamed another product until now as I finally had time to sit and really feel the effects of every part of my routine. Voila! This was the culprit, even though it’s advertised to sensitive skin types! :( I recommend the other two products though ;)

Does not add grease/oil to my face
13 September 2022

I needed something to help my face not be so dry after having oily skin for years. I now have transitioned to a flaky, dry skin and was looking for something to help just my face, so I didn't want a full body lotion. I was familiar with the Cetaphil brand, so I thought this might work for me. And it does! This lotion is thin and absorbs quickly into my skin. It did not leave a greasy or oily feeling and my skin was much better even after just one use.

Great Day Time / Not Great Night Time
22 September 2022

This is a very light weight cream. Feels rather water based which is great for my combination acne prone skin. I also have very sensitive skin with eczema on my nose. It does not irritate me or inflame my eczema at all. It hydrates my skin very well for day time use. I don’t notice any fragrance and nothing burns so that’s a huge plus. Highly recommend for day time use. I wouldn’t recommend this for night time use as I try to go for a heavier cream for night time routine. If you’re like me that needs deep hydration for overnight then this does not do the trick.

Not moisturizing enough
8 July 2022

I enjoyed this for the first few days because it didn't burn or break me out, but realized that every day I used it I liked it less. Initially, I used 3 pumps to cover my face, but I was dry by the end of the day. Today I used 5 and a couple drops of my face oil, and my face was still dry by the end of the day. I now have a few dry patches and my face feels irritated and bumpy, but at least I didn't get any cystic acne like I believe I got from the Vanicream I used prior. (I have acne prone combination skin for reference.) I wish this would have worked for me!

Okay...
24 June 2022

I read reviews before buying this as I wanted a more affordable secondary moisturiser and I have been loving the Cataphil cleanser, so I wanted to give this a try. I would consider this a very basic moisturiser, with a clean finish and no greasiness, which is great, but not one that I would consider terribly effective or hydrating. It sits very lightly on the skin so might be more beneficial in summer when skin is naturally more plump, but in winter when I am writing this review, there is little to celebrate with this purchase. I am using it more as a carrier cream than a cream by itself, as it just doesn't have the carry or punch a moisturiser needs, especially during the cooler drier months. `
