I have sensitive skin and I have never really found a moisturizer that I would stick to and repurchase several times until now. Sure, I’d try several skin care products for a few days or even up to a couple of weeks but I always make sure I have this Cetaphil hydrating cream because this is my safety net. When a product breaks me out, I know I can always go back to this and help my skin heal. This tub lasts 2-3 months on me and I use it twice a day. This is my 5th tub already. Next time I’ll try the Healthy Radiance and I hope it performs the same, otherwise, I’ll gladly go back to this. This is by far the best among the ones that I tried!

I have combination sensitive skin. Sometimes it’s extremely dry on my cheeks and chin and extremely oily on my forehead, nose, and near my jaw line. On top of that my face burns easily if the product isn’t a good fit. Weird, right? BUT this product works really well. It hydrates the dry areas and doesn’t clog my pores on the other areas. A good find!

I have combination skin that tends to get very dehydrated and dry, yet still very oily. I like to use a thick moisturizer at night because I've noticed I actually wake up oilier if I don't moisturize enough at night. My skin is also very sensitive and prone to irritation so I look for fragrance-free products. I remember using Cetaphil religiously when I was in high school and suffering from terrible hormonal acne. One day I decided to pick this up in Target when I ran out of my usual night cream and was looking for a cheaper alternative. The product is nice and light but it is VERY hydrating. It might almost feel greasy once it's on. I don't mind that in a night cream because I feel that my skin absorbs it well through the night. Despite it probably not being oil free, I found that it didn't irritate my skin. In fact, I wake up with even, bright, smooth skin. I even have a natural glow that is in no way oily. I'm very picky with moisturizers but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. For the price, I think it is great. Cetaphil makes amazing products that don't have unnecessary fragrances or ingredients. All the products I have tried from Cetaphil do what they are supposed to do. That is very difficult to find even in products that are 3 times the price. I just wish it had other benefits besides just hydration, although I guess that should be enough since I can pair it with a serum if I need something else. I could see how this wouldn't be hydrating enough for extremely dry skin, but it works for my dehydrated skin. Nevertheless, it is a wonderful night cream if you have combination skin but still want a 'heavier' night cream.

Finally at age 50 I realized my skin is dry and sensitive, even though I do have blocked comedones on a t-zone. A lot of creams, even if it says it’s for dry skin, contain niacinamide, which looks like it’s drying my skin, it looks tired and crepey especially under the eyes few hours later. A lot of creams includes coloring and/or perfume too. This one doesn’t include any of these. I really like how my skin feels after. Definitely recommended!
I have very dry and sensitive skin. I can definitely tell a positive and drastic difference with this face cream. It contains hyaluronic acid which helps lock in moisture. It does not irritate my skin in any way. I am on my second jar of it. My only wish is that it came in a larger sized jar to last longer. I will continue to use this product!
With the name of this cream being Rich Hydrating Cream I assumed that it would be really hydrating, but it's not. At least not to me. I have dry skin and my usual face cream of a different brand has become very hard to find, so I decided to give this cream a try based on it's claim to hydrate and the good reviews that it has received. I find this cream to be more of a lotion with a somewhat light whipped consistency and I have to put layers of it on for me to feel any sort of hydration. I put 3 layers on and then even still have to put more of it around my nose to hydrated the dry skin that I have there, and will have to add more on as the day goes on as my skin will start to feel dry. It is light and leaves my skin soft, not heavy leaving my skin feeling greasy. But for my skin on it's own, especially during colder months, this will not work for me.
This product I bought at my local Walgreens. Thought I’d give it a try since I love the brand’s skin cleanser. Nope, this one feels nice in the jar. But feels greasy on the skin. (Might as well use Vaseline in that case) Which I don’t like. While this product actually came sealed, my jar had only half of the cream in it. Literally, it looks like someone scooped some out of the jar before it was sealed! Thankfully it’s a small jar, and not a huge tub. Cause it felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth! Cetaphil, I’m disappointed. I even contacted support, got the standard “ we’re working with our suppliers to get it so the cream doesn’t settle so much during shipping and while on store shelves!” response. So, I’m guessing they know about the control issues, but don’t really care about them. I definitely won’t be buying this particular product again, nor would I recommend it. I saw, that I'm also not the only one with this issue, that’s obviously been going on for quite a number of years. I’ll look elsewhere for a cream, to actually get what the box describes and my money’s worth!
The container is too big for its contents, which makes it appear as though someone has dipped their fingers in and used it. It took me awhile and some research to figure that out. Mine came in a box that had been thoroughly sealed, so I knew that it hadn't been opened. Based on the large number of complaints and my own experience, the Cetaphil manufacturer really needs to rethink their packaging. Also, no where on the container does it indicate the ingredients. And, while it is moisturizing, it goes fast if you use it on both your face and neck. Two weeks and I need to order more. I'm looking for another brand. I'm giving it three stars because it does work, but it doesn't go far, and the packaging is deceiving.
i’ve been looking for a good face cream ever since it seemed like the night cream i used for years from neutrogena may have been discontinued. within just a few weeks of using this face lotion i noticed my face looks so much more hydrated and, dare i say, younger! i’ve noticed the difference in pictures also! i have skin that tends to be dry so in the winter i tend to need a heavy cream. this face lotion has been great for me so far even with the cold weather. i think i found a new favorite! the reason i tried it in the first place is because i have used the cetaphil body cream for years and i recently tried the cetaphil eye makeup remover, which is also amazing btw.
