Hunting for an affordable, gentle face wash that clears away acne? Look no further! I was recommended this during my teen years when hormonal breakouts and poor eating habits led to some bad pimples lol. And I will say this helped a lot during those times. If you are just getting started in skincare, I recommend anything from the cetaphil or cerave lines. These brands are cheap, they work, and you can learn which ingredients work for you skin so you can go from shopping at Target to maybe dropping a pretty penny at Sephora ✨just because ✨

Great product!

I love this. I have incredibly oily, incredibly sensitive skin and I am 75. I live in a hot, humid area. I also have rosacea. I have been searching for 3 years now for something that would clean my skin, not plug it up or dry it so cinders. This is working, and has the advantage of calming down the redness I get from other products. Thank God, Cetaphil finally removed the SLS from all its products, and I can now use this. I only wish you had the moisturizer too. I have been unable to find it.

Ineffective

I also bought the matching Cetaphil Redness Relieving Daily Moisturizer, which I really didn’t like. When I wanted to remove the daily moisturizer, this foaming face wash was ineffective. After two washes with this Cetaphil face wash, I was not able to remove the residue from the Cetaphil tinted moisturizer. Also, I typically buy sensitive skin products so I was surprised by the strong fragrance in this product.

This cleanser is okay. Works well on dry skin or combination skin. It is too mild for me. I wanted a deeper cleansing. Because it’s foam, I get the feeling that it finishes quickly. I trust the brand and it’s approved by dermatologists. I would recommend it to everyone with very sensitive skin.

Only just used it, but already my skin feels calmer

I just used this product for the first time. I was on steroid shots for a medical condition and now have a topical one I am using. The steroid shots wreaked havoc on my face when I stopped them and the topical is doing the same thing - I now have combination skin hardcore where I used to have very normal skin. My T zone has become super oily while my cheeks, nose and chin are flaky and dry. I was using another face cleanser and cream which I LOVED. However, My oily T zone wasn't handling the cream well while the cleanser left my cheeks dry (new development due to meds). I switched to this Cetaphil for redness-prone skin today - it is everything I needed! It removed the excess oil from my T zone but didn't cause any added dryness on my cheeks.
