As I got older, I was starting to have skin problems. I developed dermatitis. My doctor recommended that I switch my body bar soap to this. I got a free sample to try. I will say the initial smell puts me off, very medicine smell, but then as the bar slowly disappears the smell goes away. The initial out of the bag is intense. Today this review is after 8 years of use. If you struggle with skin issues, I recommend this to people. It is a gentle cleaning bar that deep cleans but does not dry out the skin. NOTE: I live in Texas, HEB has the best prices on this product in store. Costco once a year has a sale of these online. Keep an eye out for the Costco price.

I have sensitive skin and was having some issues with itchy skin. My dermatologist suggested that I switch to this soap. I do love the packaging. Each bar is wrapped in plastic and then placed in a box. The bar has a smell but it is not a fragrance but rather the soap. I enjoy this soap because it does a great job of cleaning with no leftover residue. My skin feels clean and hydrated. No irritation. I switched soap brands and never looked back.

I have very oily skin and occasional acne. I had bad acne from middle school to high school and that’s when I was first introduced to cetaphil. I used both the bar soap and the liquid cleanser. The bar soap is great for anyone who has acne on their face, back, or shoulders. It’s very cleansing and strips the bad oils from your skin without also drying out your skin. It lathers up really well and has always been my go to when it comes to bar soap.

I have very dry skin and I thought maybe all the fragrances in my other body care could be drying my skin out even worse so I was on a mission to find a great clean smelling soap that was made for dry skin. I didn’t want to smell like a 🧼 of dial antibacterial. I found the cetaphil soap on Amazon but knew I could get it cheaper at the drugstore so I did and I’ve not used anything else since. I love adore the smell this soap isn’t sticky or residue leaving like most bar soaps. 5/5 for me!

Clean and Simple

This is a staple in my beauty routine! I love how calm and gentle the clansing bars are. Simple fresh smell, gentle on my skin and they have a slightly milky feel. Especially during the summer months, these are great even on slightly sunburned skin. The one drawback is they do "melt" in the shower so try to keep them dry on a soap dish and where they can air out post shower/bath. This is the best price I've seen in town for the 3-pack.

Gentle when you need it

I know this product is a bit pricey at first, but I used it exclusively for my face the first few weeks and liked how it left my skin. I definitely didn't get new breakouts. As a disclaimer I wear a tinted sunscreen so I use a cold cream to remove the makeup and sunscreen before washing with this product. Then I went a trip to Italy for two weeks. Love it!

Well, I'm now a big fan of this bar soap. The cold, dry winter has driven me to find some dry skin relieving products. I also have eczema and have to pick the right kind of products. I've been using this soap for about a week, and I love it. It's very gentle and causes no problems with my skin. I also LOVE the smell, which is a clean, fresh soap smell. Will continue to buy this for sure.

No drugstore soap compaires

For those complaining just FYI fragrance free does not mean unscented. It just means fragrance wasn’t added, and may still have a scent. With that said I love this soap and actually enjoy the smell it has. It works well with my body chemistry and leaves me both smelling and feeling fresh. Its gentle and hydrating on my sensitive skin while removing even the heaviest funk from hiking/working out. I love this bar for travel also because it’s gentle enough to use on my face in a pinch.

I’ve used this bar along with the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion (the regular one) for 20 years. I’ve strayed and tried other things. I always come back to the basics because they work so well. This bar cleanses without stripping and has a nice light clean soapy scent. Dove bar which I’ve used doesn’t seem to clean as well especially during hot months or when I’ve worked out and sweated a lot. I just feel so clean using Cetaphil and it prevents my skin from getting itchy (I have a skin condition). It seems to clear and prevent breakouts and doesn’t irritate sensitive areas.
