Everyone’s skin reacts differently with different products. This didn’t work for me at all, I’d probably recommend trying the CeraVe sensitive skin cleanser instead. But this works for a lot of people. If you’re buying this, definitely try a travel size to test it out first before committing to a full size bottle.

This felt very gentle and creamy, the only downside is it has ingredients I don’t care for. It has a sulfate and parabens. Parabens are confusing to me, because I looked up the studies that have shown to cause hormonal disruption, and it’s only been done on mice at extremely high levels that the average person will never experience. So parabens are a great preserver, but there’s some sketchy findings. The UK banned the ingredient, and I usually like to follow anything the UK beauty industry bans, since they are quite knowledgeable and ahead of us in that department. Anyway, I don’t mind using this cleanser, I’m just iffy about parabens. It is not a deep cleanse and only for those who need a highly moisturizing and gentle cleanser.

I #gotitfree in return of my honest review. I have sensitive skin so having the chance to try a soap-free formula that is made specifically to be gentle on your skin was perfect for me. I found that it left my skin feeling clean without drying it out it also worked good to remove my makeup without having to wash my face more than once. This product is hypoallergenic, paraben free, fragrance free can also be used on face + body which is great because I find some body washes tend to irritate my skin. You can use it with or without water, but I do prefer to use it with water as I found it to be more effective on my skin. Definitely recommend the Cetaphil brand will for sure be purchasing this products again!

I really wanted to love this cleanser as I know it is highly acclaimed in the skin care community. I wanted to see if it could replace my holy grail gentle cleanser (which I purchase online) because this product would be more accessible in stores. However, this product broke me out badly… in cysts. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I know this cleanser caused the breakouts because I have been using the other products in my skincare for years consistently and have had no such reaction.
