I was choosing between this product and their "adult" (I suppose?) version. The only difference between the two is that this one has those lovely skin soothing ingredients like panthenol in it, and that was a selling point for me. This product comes in a large pump bottle with a cap which means less spillage and chance of it busting as the bottle is a sturdy and hard plastic. \n\nCetaphil is pretty much a well known and staple product in Australian drugstores. I do still use it on the face when I am at the beach but my preferred way is certainly for the body where it gives a nice flow as my body is somewhat dry while my face is combination/ oily. \n\nThis has excellent durability and protection and has gotten me through whole days at the beach in summer with no burn and only the absolute breath of a tan which shows how protective it is. Fantastic for our son who gets eczema. All other sunscreens would trigger an eczema flare up. Much cheaper at bargain chemist. Except they never sent this product to me in the order and instead they sent me a refund. I assume it was out of stock.

This is an excellent sunscreen for adults and kids. I love that’s it’s thin and easy to rub in and apply. My daughter has really sensitive skin and many sunscreens have caused her some rashes or redness. This one hasn't, and She wears it every single day. It lasts forever. And of course it’s super quick to rub in, isn’t messy, and the pump style bottle makes it easy for even the littlest people to apply.

This is an excellent sunscreen for adults and kids. I love that’s it’s thin and easy to rub in and apply. My daughter has really sensitive skin and many sunscreens have caused her some rashes or redness. This one hasn't, and She wears it every single day. It lasts forever. Read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try. It IS greasy and when you first put it on it leaves you looking sweaty and greasy. No whitecast so theres that, but in all honesty i'd rather have a slight white cast then looking like i just worked out as i put on sunscreen. The grease does settle after a while but still too shiny for my liking. Also leaves hands with residue grease/shine. Overall not the happiest to have spent $16 on a product i feel obligated to use now.
I bought this around a month or so ago and I've only used it twice because, although its not terrible, it has a pretty strong smell of alcohol until you rub it into your skin. I also look pretty purple/ghost like until I rub it a lot, but my skin is a medium shade of brown so that could be why. Also, it is quite greasy until you rub it in and wait maybe 10-15 minutes. I do really like the dispenser though and the bottle. I think it does protect me well from the sun.
My skin burns with any sunscreen when I wear it daily but this sunscreen doesn't affect me and actually makes my skin look great! I've tried using most baby sunscreens and zinc for my sensitive skin and they're okay but my skin builds up a burning intolerance. However this sunscreen is amazing and I hope they don't stop making it.
Really fantastic sun protection, really light formula, and does not sting eyes. This spf would be perfect if it was dried down a little more (it is very moisturising, needs setting with powder) and it does have the tendency to pill ever so mildly around eyes depending on skincare underneath, but for the most part this is avoidable. This is my go-to spf (not just for kids!).
I have dry acne prone skin and this sunscreen gives a beautiful glow without causing congestion. I love that it’s 50+ protection! I mix it with my nars foundation and it blends beautifully!
Cetaphil is a staple recommendation when it comes to skincare products so it comes at no surprise that their SPF is a win in the high broad spectrum protection department. Coming in a generously sized, easy to use pump package, this product has incredible filters that protect against both UVA and UVB waves. Water resistant and safe for both children and adults, there is only one downside to this some people may want to know about. It is quite greasy. Now, on most peoples bodies this will not be an issue. I think most people have normal to dry skin on their bodies so this tends to be quite lovely and hydrating without being sticky or slippy. On the face, however, which is what I originally intended it for (I am combination skin) it was shine central! I also think (and like if I am correct) that internally the pump mechanism rises up as you use the product. Once it is done, you can't pump down anymore. I appreciate knowing I most likely used every drop seeing as you can't cut open the packaging!
Yes it's affordable but not cosmetically elegant for the face, my complexion is quite pale and even this formulation leaves a ghastly white caste. Packaging claims it is non-greasy - it is quite greasy making it difficult to wear in appropriate amounts to be protective enough on the face. Would not repurchase.
