This product is the greasiest and most uncomfortable sunscreen I have ever tried, and I've tried a lot. No idea how people can find this pleasant to use, or why it is advertised as having a matte finish. It also has a very noticeable white tint even on light skin. Avoid!

Medium thick, goes on a bit white but settles after a minute. Doesn’t react with my sensitive skin! However it does leave me very oily. I rub my forehead and have grease marks on my clothes kind of thing. I can’t use Laroche pose sensitive, the cancer council sensitive, Bondi sands, or Nivea sensitive if that gives any comparison. One to try if you’ve reacted to others.

I have dry, sensitive skin that refuses to absorb 9/10 products I try. This Cetaphil one is great. I can still feel it a tiny bit, but it's not that greasy, heavy feeling. Perfect for walks whilst working from home and also neck and hands on long drives post-lockdown. Besides this, the formula is amazing. It's smooth and easy to apply, feeling more like a moisturiser. No white cast or shine. Also really affordable for a high quality product. Will definitely be trying more Cetaphil products!
Love this spf 50+ Cetaphil Sun Ultra-light Lotion. It’s affordable and does what it says. I used this over the last Sumer and my skin was saved from sunburns. I usually get sunburned very quickly but thanks to this I didn’t have any sunburns. I love how it’s not overly thick or too light, it gets absorbed into my skin and keeps my skin hydrated. There is no unpleasant fragrances and I reapplied every 5 hours.will be buying a another bottle for this summer because my friends and family finished this one
Nice Sunscreen but transferred onto everything and ruined my car The sunscreen its self is everything I’ve been looking for in a sunscreen for years! its light, doesn’t feel sticky when on and doesn’t leave my skin stinking like suncream. I love a sunscreen with 50 + protection and really like this cetaphil lotion. It does say ultra light and while it feels light to wear I did have to spend time rubbing it right in. Having said that it gives great protection from burning and is great for anti ageing as it doesn’t let harmful up rays in. It is a little thick but doesn’t leave my skin oily and won’t irritate sensitive skin. I save this lotion just for the beach and swimming as I Like a lighter lotion under makeup, it certainly stops burning effectively though. It’s a great price and has no nasty smell like some sun products have, overall I really liked this and would recommend it
I have such a high expectancy about this product, because i love the claims and uv filters that it contains. BUT, by far this is the worst texture and appearance. it's too white for my olive skin, i only use a little [which u're not supposed to], but it looks like i put a mask on, plus u cant use it around ur eyes area, so imagine how ridiculous i look, and it also look super greasy. it doesnt feel greasy, but it looks SUPER greasy. i know, u might ask, why dont u put a powder to mattify it ? IT LOOKS EVEN WHITER and thicker. i HATE it. but, MAYBE, if u have fair skin, this would be great for you. now, i only use it at my house.
My skin is very sensitive to anything, unfortunately include the sun, so I’ve bought too many sunscreens in the US. Some of them are mediocre, the others are just either too greasy and oily or too dry. I bought three sunscreens from this website and this one is the best. First of all, it has very high protection from the sun as well as newer generation of ingredients that block the UV rays.
I was so disappointed in this sunscreen. I have oily skin and I am always in the hunt for beauty products that balance the oiliness and don't add to it. Therefore I was mesmerized by the promise of an ultra-light lotion and unfortunately was greeted with a super-thick cream. It also didn't absorb easily, I really had to rub it in (which is not good when you have sensitive skin as I do). That meant that I wasn't able to wear it under makeup. The only good thing was that I didn't get sunburned whilst applying this sun protection and it really seemed to be water-resistant. Luckily, it didn't leave white marks on my body after coming out of the water.
