This is my absolute favorite fragrance - ever! Chanel Chance is truly a remarkable perfume. The top note is Pink Pepper; middle notes are Jasmine and iris; base notes are Patchouli, Musk and Vanilla. At first it is a very woody, slightly spicy scent that is bold and unique. Then it settles and the vanilla and patchouli peak through and bring with them the subtle warmth and distinct depth that balance it beautifully. I love that you get a glance at the color of the perfume from the sleek clear bottle. The scent! It’s fruity and a little floral but not overpowering floral. I love that it makes you feel very grown yet youthful and flirty at the same time. It lasts a very long time on me. Even if I can’t smell it anymore others still can still smell it on me. It is on the pricey side but with its longevity it can last you a long time. I just about 2-3 sprays when I wear it and that’s more than enough. I get tons of compliments when I wear this one. I just can't get enough of this. Seriously, the pink pepper in the opening, the rich, spicy, slightly sweet that opens up as it dries down. So, so good. The bottle is beautiful, just like the scent. Gorgeous, unique and it just feels like a luxury scent. The only problem I have is the price point vs. the longevity. It's a pricey perfume for one that doesn't last super long and isn't really a "strong" fragrance in terms of projection I would say. Still, I can't bring myself to dock it a star here because it makes up for those things in just how good the scent is to me and how unique it is. Also, it's just an issue with perfume in general. They do seem to use great quality ingredients and for the money, they really do seem to be worth it and not as crazy expensive as, say, a designer hand bag where you could get a bag just as good, but at a much lower price point. Not the case with perfume.

It’s a super sexy unique perfume w/ depth that is a major sophistication upgrade from your typical gourmand scent. On first spray it’s extremely strong, but the dry down is just perfect. A little bit goes a very long ways, trust me people will smell you when you walk in the room; in the BEST way. 😉 after wearing it for awhile I start to go “nose-blind” but I’ve gotten complimented even when I had thought it wore off possibly. One morning I was ordering coffee the woman behind the register commented on how amazing I smelled, haha. It lasts even longer on clothes, I always can still notice the scent on clothing articles that I’m about to throw into wash when doing laundry, days after it had been worn. You need this in your collection, especially if you know these fragrance notes appeal to your taste

Chance is really such an incredible fragrance. When I first sprayed it, I was really disappointed because it smelled like Coco Mad. Now don't get me wrong -- I grew to love Coco Mad -- but it has a tendency to turn dirty on me and become a patch bomb that makes it smell as though I haven't bathed. I love Coco Mad but she doesn't love me back. Chance, however? It opens like Coco Mad, but then as it dries, this wondrous simplicity takes over. The soft iris and indolic jasmine play together to create this undeniably feminine aura -- the sillage is intoxicating -- and it just smells, well, expensive.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre is the only fragrance you need on your shelf. Admittedly, I have plenty of others and try not to use this one too much in fear of running out, but Chance is definitely my favourite! This past Christmas, I decided I wanted to treat myself to something a little more glamorous and decided on a Chanel perfume. After testing several Chanel scents, I was becoming disheartened as I didn’t like any of them. But as soon as I spritzed this on, I knew it was the one! It’s floral and a tad fruity, so soft and tender as the name suggests. It makes me feel elegant. I bought the eau de toilette but the staying power is amazing. This one always gets compliments and I always recommend it to my friends!

Terrible longevity...

Beautiful and well known fragrance that didn't last on my skin or clothes. I really wanted to love this fragrance, especially since it's Chanel, but the quality of the actual fragrance isn't there. It doesn't smell cheap, just not long lasting on me. I couldn't justify the price when I had to retouch up and spray every 2 hours for an edp. Such a shame that a beautiful fragrance couldn't last. I had to exchange it for something else. I recommend getting a sample vial before purchasing and really try wearing this fragrance to see if your body chemistry holds the scent well. I had to spray at least 10 times to try to keep the scent on me. It just slowly disappeared.

I bought the EDT years ago for my wedding/honeymoon in Bali and LOVED the scent so much. I ended up gifting it though to a family member since it just didn't last long on my body to justify wearing it. Fast forward, I tried the EDP even though it also had reviews saying it had poor lasting power--and it's a keeper!! It makes me so happy wearing it because it brings me back to all those good memories associated with it.For parfums that have citrus and "fresh" notes, we have to be realistic and understand that they will fade faster than other warmer notes. That said, a trick is to definitely spray on clothing and hair rather than pulse points.
