This is an excellent fragrance. Many people have mentioned it smells more “mature” to them, but to me it smells wonderful. It’s an Amber spicy scent with a plethora of notes. The notes that are prevalent to my nose, on my skin are rose coriander in the top, cloves orange blossom in the mid and amber, sandalwood, tonka vanilla in the base. The scent is so well blended smooth. It is rich and smoky/sweet, without being too cloying. I feel this fragrance is best enjoyed in the fall/winter. It’s a high end scent, but totally worth it, in my opinion.

A very very very unique perfume! To me, this is perfect for the fall/winter and reminds me of Christmas. On a tester paper this smells fresh, clean, and a little earthy. It completely transforms on the skin. It becomes a warm, super spicy, and boozy scent that is so cozy. It’s such an interesting scent that you will keep wanting to smell. It’s mature, but I definitely wouldn’t consider it to be an “old lady” perfume. I think a confident young girl could easily pull it off. I’m 19 and many people my age compliment me when I wear this. However, I will say this is not a safe blind buy or gift because of how unique smelling it is. I also took off a star because like with many Chanel perfumes, they’re very pricey and the performance isn’t that great.

I recently wore it while I was out running errands and paying bills. The gentleman at my local utility office (who is at least 25 years my senior) commented on my perfume. In fact he said, "Is that Chanel?" Since I live in a small town I was totally shocked he recognized the scent. For reference, I really despise sweet scents or anything with amber. I really love the fresh clean scent of My Burberry Blush, but it just doesn't last very long. I like YSL Mon Paris, but it's become a tad bit too sweet for me. I wanted something with bits of all of those perfumes Coco Mademoiselle nailed it. I wanted something with a hint of sweet, some floral, white musk, with refreshing citrus, and a base of sandalwood or something rich. I'm so happy I found something I love. I'll be wearing this as my signature scent until my bottle runs out.

I have literally smelled 100 perfumes or more in the past few weeks to try to find another contender for this signature scent of mine - only because it does not last long enough on my skin - and failed miserably. There are many beautiful scents out there in the world but none that I want to wear more than this one. The composition, structure and notes of this masterpiece simply cannot be outdone. I own many perfumes and sniff new ones every chance I get but the only one I want to wear is Coco Mademoiselle through and through. Sophistication, beauty, strength, complexity, elegance and style in a bottle. Absolute perfection. Words don’t do it justice but I think this is enough said.

Thirteen years ago I worked at a high end department store and I took all day smelling fragrances sniffing coffee beans in between each one to clear my palate and when I smelled this I knew it was not a possibility for anything to smell better! It’s hard to describe fragrance but this is spicy and heavy and it makes me so happy to smell it… plus the fact it was launched in 1984 the year I was born was just kind of a magical thing! Love Love Love

I'm 23 and this is literally my childhood. This is my moms signature smell and it's just so mature and classy, I'm in love. Just as I remembered. This fragrance is a very specific aroma, you're either going to like it or you're not. Its spicy with a hint of sweetness, your body chemistry definitely dictates how the smell lingers on the skin. This is a PARFUM. It's not Toilette Spray which is what most people buy from stores, as it's a watered down version. Parfum is a straight concentrate, with that being said a TINY BIT goes a long way! Of course you're not going to like it & be overwhelmed if you use too much at once.

The Power of elegance in a COCO Bottle

I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE. As a woman who loves scents, I was most skeptic. I love Chanel No. 5 and was on the fence with Chanel COCO. I am officially addicted to wearing this. I have NEVER received compliments as much as I do when I wear this. Even going a day without spraying, people are running me down to tell me how much they love the way I smell. I have fragrances found my signature! First spray is not as heavy as No. 5 and it settles in quick and beautifully. Almost like No. 5 with a little powdery, simmered sweet intoxicating spice. Love! Gabrielle is a total addiction to!

Timeless Classic

To say I love this fragrance is an understatement. In my humble opinion, Coco is the best of the best and is the only fragrance l wear in Chanel line. I also own the body lotion - gorgeous scent - difficult to find these days. Yes, the opening note is citrusy but it dries down to a beautiful and delicious floral musky scent that last and lasts. Even on your clothes, And this is the only fragrance that is works well with my body chemistry. Definitely not an old lady or grandma scent. I will continue to purchase. Yes it's expensive but this Chanel gal is worth it.

Too strong for me

This perfume smelled more like men’s cologne to me. It is entirely too strong and “musky” for my liking. It was just too overpowering and not in a good way. I love Chanel! I wear No.5, Mademoiselle, and Chance. I also like more soft, powdery, floral, and somewhat (not too much) fruity scents. If you like the more musky smell, then you’ll love this.
