I got this as a sample in one of my Sephora orders, and when I sprayed it I was absolutely shocked. It was so classic and so beautifully sweet, but not nauseatingly sweet like I always say, but just the perfect amount. It was confident it was loud and it wanted to make its way out into the world. Coco really did it this time. I believe this perfume is absolutely Timeless and would be loved by everybody and everything. It is truly a scent that I think everybody will get along with and I don't think it will offend anybody whatsoever because it is just that beautiful. Trust me you will love it, it is not boring it is not the same like every other perfume out there, it is beautifully simple in the loudest way possible. One squirt really goes a long way, and I love the Simplicity of the bottle with the logo on the front. Truly classic and truly does fit the scent.

I love this stuff. I like it in the way that I like Philosophy Amazing Grace, another very popular fragrance. Sometimes I just like a soft “powdery” musky fragrance. This is one of those. It smells feminine with a slight hint of cardamom, one of my olfactory weaknesses, and florals. There have been times when my backyard reminded me of this scent because we have freesia and peonies. This scent claims to have these two notes and I believe it. I can identify them in this blend. But, mainly what really stands out, the cardamom and florals are there but not the show stealers, is the “clean” white musk smell and the slight warm sweetness of vanilla. This comes across as a powdery fresh scent, I guess because of the huge amounts of white musk. This isn’t a mind-blowing ... MoreI love this stuff. It smells soft and feminine and it reminds me of wearing a silky-smooth cami with a cashmere soft cardigan. So it’s like cardamom clean musk at first, then spring garden and clean musk, then like clean musk + vanilla. This is how it wears on me. It’s simple enough, light, and fit for a lady.

I've had this pursespray for over a decade, though mine is linked to my old signature fragrance Coco Mademoiselle. I used to adore that perfume, but I've outgrown it a bit now that I'm in my mid 40s. It's still a very nice and elegant edp, don't get me wrong, but my fragrance taste has developed towards heavier stuff: Unisex Gourmands, Middle Eastern Orientals, Amber Vanilla's Florals, and Dark fruity florals. As for the purse spray itself, that will remain an eternal love. It's very pretty, super handy to use and I love the fact you have separate smaller 20ml perfumes to use for it, so if you don't use up a lot the others aren't opened yet and won't go bad as fast as a regular bottle (though I had an "old" brand new 20ml that I hadn't used due to a long bout of ... MoreI've had this pursespray for over a decade, though mine is linked to my old signature fragrance Coco Mademoiselle. Coco Mademoiselle isn't a heavy fragrance so it won't last much beyond the prescribed 3yrs). The spray atomiser is great, such a nice mist! And it has a swivel top, meaning that the atomiser is closed off whenever you don't use it. Twist the top clockwise and voila: a golden coloured atomiser with the Chanel logo op top becomes visible and now you'll only have to press it to get your wonderful Chanel fragrance out! The rest of the case is - with its white casing and small gold line - in the typical elegant, minimalistic style of Chanel. Ideal to put into a handbag with you for work or going out, take it on board a plane in a carry-on or to have it on a vanity (if you have a huge perfume collection but little space, like me, this spray is also ideal! ) While mine is for CM I'm pretty sure all the travel size Chanel perfumes could be clicked into it, so if you no longer want to use this particular fragrance you could still use it for Gabrielle, Chance or Coco f.e., Unless you prefer a different pursespray for each perfume of course... to each their own. I wish more brands would come up with this. Sure, I have several travalo's and they come in handy. Just like I buy refillable bottles and Refills whenever I consider a perfume a wardrobe staple. But to have a designated, quality pursespray with quite often cheaper 3x20ml boxes (than the 50ml bottle! ) that can basically replace a regular bottle indefinitely is pretty much perfection.

I didn’t know they debuted a travel set in a mini version with refills; gosh, I wish every perfume would offer an easy “on the go” set like this! But back to this divinely feminine fragrance…. I remember the exact day I first smelled this and it was when I received a full bottle as a gift from my mom ❤️ It was the first Christmas after I graduated college earned my Bachelor’s Degree, 12/25/2003. She told me that she knew buying perfume for someone other than yourself isn’t always recommended, but that she “knew me better than anyone” (which is true) and she said when she smelled it, I was the first person she thought of. She and I both agree that Coco Mademoiselle smells like a confident, feminine, and ambitious woman. And hey, #INFLUENSTER if you’re listening, I would LOVE to sample this out because while it was my signature fragrance for nearly 10 years, I haven’t owned any in just as long 💔 it’s a total classic, hands down. It’s literally to die for!

I’ve been wearing this fragrance on and off for 15 years! I will often try other perfumes but I always come back to this because it’s absolutely beautiful. It opens up bright and sparkly with a citrus note (this is probably the only scent with citrus that works with my body chemistry) and then develops into a thick, creamy blend of floral and vanilla notes with a dash of patchouli (to keep it from being too precious). It smells fresh and playful, but in a feminine and sophisticated way. I tend to crave this fragrance more around fall and winter because it has a festive vibe to it. I love the warmth and light it projects when it’s cold outside! One of the best things about Mademoiselle is its longevity...I can give myself two sprays in the morning and still smell it 7 hours later. I LOVE the twist and spray version because I can carry it around in my purse in case I go out straight from work and it smells just as beautiful as the one that’s in the glass bottle. The 3.4 oz. bottle is a better value than parfum twist and spray atomizer, which comes with 3-0.7 oz bottles and the atomizer, BUT I love the convenience of bringing it along in my purse and not having to worry if it’s going to break. I love Mademoiselle so much that I have the bottle as well as the atomizer. The only con is...it’s popularity! I tend to smell this fragrance on other women at least once a week. So if that sort of thing bothers you, maybe try another perfume. But I really don’t care. I wear it for myself because it makes me feel confident, happy, and beautiful. I’m so glad to have it in my possession again!
Coco Mademoiselle (2001) is a fruity ozonic update to the original Polge-penned Coco Coco Chanel (1984) coming in a clear bottle full of bright pink liquid, bearing only the slightest resemblance in the heart but otherwise being of an entirely different character. Most major designers releasing scents like these (particularly men's iterations) have long ago discontinued them when the youth-targeting ultra-tart genre proved to not age very well once it left the mid 2000's, while Coco Mademoiselle has not just endured, but also spawned various concentrations/semi-flankers to boot. The style is admittedly garish and flamboyant, featuring a ton of "sour candy" and denatured patchouli in the note tree. Normally I hate "fruitchouli" with a passion but this speaks to my flamboyantly gay side so much I am drawn to it like a moth to a flame. I can't say there is a single lick of unisex potential with Coco Mademoiselle, but I'd still wear it; make of that what you will. Coco Mademoiselle feels both like a scent blatantly catering to youth, but also irreverent to the concept of age-targeting in the perfume with the way it finishes. The opening blast of Chanel Mademoiselle is almost obnoxiously bright and puckering in tartness, almost scary for the first few moments because of how it resembles the aforementioned "sour candy". Lots of bergamot, lemon, ozone, and grapefruit. Ozonics of this period had the olfactory profile of a Jolly Rancher for the most part, and super-tart lychee sneaks into the opening from the heart, followed by a sweet jammy rose. There is some jasmine hedione in the heart too, and galoxide is definitely part of the profile too, so expect a bit of that "Fabuloso" vibe into the patchouli base. Dihydromyrcenol makes its presence felt too, and the unabashedly synthetic bounce of Coco Mademoiselle would rip most perfumes apart, but Polge seemed to have designed Coco Mademoiselle around this bounce, as the rose and patchouli from the original connect in a way that this feels like a Coco flanker, but will never be mistaken for Coco. A boozy vanilla and musk tone finish up with the patchouli, helping calm down the rakish top but retaining the sour candy vibe. The final finish is crystalline sour-sweet and only a smidgen animalic, like a set of training wheels prepping you for the original Coco, but still a lot of fun with performance to match.A lot of perfumistas will rake Polge over the coals for making something like this, and blaspheme the name of Chanel in anger, but I appreciate the risk taking here, for is it not so different from the risk taking he did with Coco or even Antaeus (1981)? This will likely have maximum appeal with the generation it was made for, who are all approaching 40 by the time of this review, and ready to receive slightly more-mature flankers like Coco Noir (2012) and Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum Intense (2018) with open arms. Coco Mademoiselle really was like Abercrombie Fitch Fierce (2002) but for women, or because it came out first, is it the other way around? Still, this neon pink fruity radioactive patchouli isotope with the half-life of a Hostess Twinkie is just too loveably tacky to find harmful, like a Hawaiian shirt on a significant other or a dubstep remix of Burt Bacharach, and when appropriately worn in warm weather during casual days out, will only reassert whatever mirth is present in a day full of fun activities. That's really the secret of Coco Mademoiselle's success methinks: It doesn't take itself seriously and neither should you. Thumbs up.
The spray has a strong fruity smell so you only need to use a little. It is not too strong or overpowering, but a few sprays is enough and it really does smell amazing. The bottle is durable, no issues with the sprayer breaking and it comes with an elegant looking golden cap. It lasts all day as well, definitely a good product. No issues or complaints.
N°5, the very essence of femininity. A powdery floral bouquet. A timeless, legendary fragrance that comes in a refillable purse spray you can take with you anywhere. The eau de parfum draws inspiration from the parfum with which it shares its floral aldehyde signature. This floral bouquet composed around May Rose and Jasmine features bright citrus top notes. Aldehydes create a unique presence, and the smooth touch of Vanilla an incredibly sensual trail.
