This review is actually for the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation in 1 Cool, this is just what came up when I scanned the box. The color 1 Cool is for very fair skin with cool undertones, and it matched my very fair skin PERFECTLY. I couldn't believe that my complexion looked that good and that this shade matched my skin that well. I was in total shock. I was used to my foundation sitting on top of my face and looking obvious. Not this foundation. It looks absolutely gorgeous and blends so well. My pores and wrinkles were all suddenly gone, and I had been having such a rough time with them being visible, especially around my nose area. I used a wet beauty blender to apply it, and believe me a little bit goes a long way. This foundation was weightless on my skin, which was wonderful compared to the last foundation I was using which felt like I was wearing a mask. It feels very cool when you apply it to your skin, which was a neat sensation, and it also has a slight fragrance to it. My skin can tend to be sensitive and the fragrance didn't bother my skin at all. It lasted me all day and night, even through a bit of crying and blowing my nose, which was impressive, and I also tend to sweat quite a bit. It also was transfer-resistant, and I even had forgotten to use a setting spray. Let's talk about the packaging too! Of course, being a Charlotte Tilbury product, it came in a beautiful box with her signature gold writing on it, and the foundation itself came in a fabulous glass bottle. The bottle has a gorgeous gold metal cap that comes off to reveal a golden pump, and of course the bottle has more gold writing on it with her logo written on it as well. Every last thing about this product is wonderful! What it is, is a long-lasting, weightless, hybrid skincare-foundation. Charlotte's secret to a flawless, poreless-looking, confident complexion. Important Ingredients- Replexium: Helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. MossCellTec No. 1: Helps thoroughly hydrate skin. AirCool: Provides an immediate fresh feel on skin. This product is both vegan and cruelty-free, which is very important to me. This hybrid skincare-foundation contains Charlotte Tilbury's magic matrix of ingredients, including the groundbreaking Magic Replexium to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The hydrating, lightweight formula is sweat-proof, humodity-proof, waterproof, and transfer-resistant. When tested on 30 men and women: Moisture levels were boosted by 216% in 1 hour. I am not a huge foundation fan but I absolutely love this foundation. I actually received the color 1 Cool/Froid but that color wasn’t available as an option for review. I do not like to wear a face full of foundation, I only use it in the places I feel I need some coverage which is under the eyes, on my chin, and around the Joel area. I found this formula to be very easy to work with, it’s a liquidy foundation which I like. It’s not too thick and it doesn’t cake on the face when applied. I like that I can put it in the spots I need and then blend it out well with a tinted moisturizer. I then set it with a little powder and continue with contour, bronzer/highlighter and blush. The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation, I am pretty pleased with it. I have worn it twice now yesterday and today, yesterday I applied with a brush and today I applied with a damp beauty blender and I 100% prefer the beauty blender method. Yesterday's application with the brush after only about 4 hours of wear it was starting to cake around my forehead, my undereye, and and oddly on my cheeks closer back toward my ears and it also looked patchy in spots even though when I first applied it, it looked amazing and was blended perfectly. I was really disappointed but decided to give it another try before sending it back and what a difference the beauty blender made!! I am so glad that it ended up looking better with the beauty blender because the foundation itself sits so nicely on the skin, although it is not the lightest foundation I have worn (Nars Natural Radiant Longwear foundation takes that prize in my opinion) it still feels quite nice! I would say this is more toward full coverage but not quite full full coverage (I hope that makes sense) but it is definitely buildable so I am pretty sure that you can achieve the coverage you desire with this foundation! I do have pretty dark circles under my eye and some redness on my cheeks and on my nose and as you can see in the pictures everything is pretty well covered up! Overall I think it is a solid foundation however like I mentioned the application with a brush is a no go and although I do have foundations that I like better this is a solid choice to have in rotation. The shade that I bought in this one is the 4 Neutral however compared to the Beautiful Skin foundation that I have in the same shade this one almost seems a tad bit darker so if you are kind of an in between shade maybe go lighter instead of darker, you can always darken up a bit with contour and/or bronzer!

Didn't Like This One

Meh. This is only just okay, which is kind of unexpected for a Charlotte Tilbury product. I orginally bought this because my regular foundation, Dior Backstage Face & Body foundation what I totally love, was out of stock in my shade everywhere and I desperately needed a foundation. I've always loved everything Charlotte Tilbury so I grabbed this one and really didn't think that I would be disappointed. To me, this is only about as a good as a drugstore foundation and I honestly don't think that I would re-buy it. I also regularly use Charlotte Tilbury moisturizer, and have loved other products that she makes. It is heavy on the skin, and I usually like full coverage foundation. There's nothing super wrong with it, but this is not what I would call a "good" foundation at all, especially not with it having the price tag of a higher end brand.

Okay so to start with, my skin can be a nightmare. I break out sporadically, my skin can have dry patches which foundations love to cling to, slight scarring from picking and dark under eyes. I like a full coverage, natural finish. For years Maybelline superstay was my holy grail. It applied so beautifully with minimal effort. It didn’t break me out either.Now when I tried the reformulated foundation, it was horrible. Some of the best neutral shades I’ve seen tbh.Longevity is my only strife with this foundation. Now if you’re able to apply powder or blot if every few hours, there is no issue.Without the accessibility to touch up, after about 6 hours of wear, I would start to see some oiliness and after 10 hours, some fundamental base issues. I cannot touch my face as product will pickup onto my hands. My face isn’t overly oily, but something to keep in mind.Anyway, this foundation is pretty mind blowing, I highly recommend at least trying it!

I’ve finally found what i’ve been searching for!

I have tried CT powder and Hollywood flawless filter, and have been suitably impressed by both. I have been using TO serum foundation in 2 YG, and Rodial skin lift foundation in 50 Cheesecake for the past few years, and with both having been discontinued in the shades i use, i have been on the lookout for a new foundation that fits the bill. I wanted something buildable, that covers hyperpigmentation but does not look heavy, something that does not crease in my fine lines without the necessity for a primer, and something that basically gives me a filtered look on and off camera at 42 years old!!! I ask a-lot of my foundation and I am also SUPER fussy with the shades, as I like a warm based yellow tone which is slightly darker than my skin. When blotting with tissue paper (which I do the last hour of my work shift- so approx 11 hrs after application) it removes oil without removing the foundation and leaving my skin patchy. Does not sit in fine lines or laugh lines. Price is fair. Blurs pores CONS: OMG it transfers! Even with my powder on my face after 6 hrs, if I touch my face or use telephones it transfers like crazy!. The strange thing is my face does not look oily- but to the touch it is a little greasy. Crease in heavier lines- But all foundations do this. Conclusion- I wanted a foundation that would sit on my face without looking too matte or cakey but would control my very oily skin. This foundation blurs pores and looks like skin. Its not the most natural foundation I have ever used but it controls shine better than the more natural looking foundations. I wish it did not transfer and I am overly conscious of touching my face. If you are someone with oily, textured skin this is a nice foundation to wear WITH powder and a setting spray.

Not good for older skin at all

I had heard some great reviews about this flawless foundation so luckily I asked for a Sample pot first.I said to the young lady that I have older skin and discussed with her how careful older women need to be as some foundations actually end up making your lines under the eyes and making your pores look worse, I even joked how all these products are made for young under 30 year olds that have perfect skin and barely a wrinkle so off course it probably looks amazing on them but what about us mature skinned women. Once applied you cannot try and smooth it as it doesn’t move or smooth and I applied this with a sponge over my normal skincare products. I also dont use any concealer so the only product on my face over moisturiser was the foundation. I have to admit the results were completely the opposite of what I had hoped and read about and tbh looked awful.I still have it on now 4 hours later and my skin looks patchy, pore filled and caking under my eyes and has actually aged me more. Perhaps I’ll try a more “dewy” formula of her products as this isn’t suitable.As I said probably amazing on young fresh faces who can apply copious amounts of concealer and foundation onto their skin and still look great but certainly not good for older skin.

The BEST foundation I have tried!

I have been searching for a foundation that was medium to full coverage, buildable but most importantly long lasting and not fully matte for so long. This is THE one! Do not sleep on this foundation - it’s amazing. It’s slightly matte but has a good glow to it which I have found works amazing with both cream and powder products on top to add that extra glow. I personally love using cream bronzer/contour/blush and highlight with this.I have tried so many high end foundations including studio fix, radiant long wear, double wear etc but this is definitely the best.I use the Hollywood flawless filter for more light coverage and if I need extra coverage or if I am going out for the day / evening I use this. This is the best foundation I've used. I'm not a big makeup lady. Parenting, homeschooling, gardening, and cleaning all wbile not taking care of myself have all taken a toll on my 50 year old body and I decided it was time to get back to taking care of me! My mother sold Avon and mary kay when I was 1-16 so I grew up around make up but my recent experience is only with urban decay and kvd good apple. I just wasn't satisfied with those...at all. But this CT foundation is THE ONE. I love the silky texture, the smell (which as a plus is faint and fades with time), and I love how natural it is on my skin. It feels like soft skin and the coverage is awesome. Typically this type of coverage is sooo cakey and noticable but not this one. I'm still experimenting with the amount but so far I only use about a half pump and apply with a nice high end foundation brush. Very satisfied.
