I first used this during winter and now just recently, in combination with CT's Magic Serum. It's a heavily fragranced, rather thick moisturizer which I can't imagine suiting most skin types that veer towards oily, sensitive or acne prone, and that's not just due to the fragrance or texture, but the ingredients: Glyceryl Stearate SE - the second ingredient for example is moderately acnegenic. Also as the serum itself is quite hydrating, you use less of the cream too. The finish is dewy and has that 'silicone' slip feel which you find with products high in silicones. Good as a base for makeup, not so good if (like me) your skin doesn't like silicones. The outer packaging that it comes in, just like the Magic Serums' packaging, is stunning and was a pleasure to open, the jar itself is weighty and beautifully constructed. A good moisturizer for all skin types

I received this moisturizer through Influenster to try and provide an honest review. This is not the first time I used it but it was the first time when I used it consistently for a month and I am pleasantly surprised. To provide some context, I am in my late 30s and just delivered a baby. Currently, my super sensitive skin is undergoing a big shift from being oily during pregnancy to dry combination right now. I have been wearing this super emollient moisturizer for a month now and not even once I have experienced any oiliness or dryness in any parts of my face. It is expensive but does come with good ingredients like hyaluronic acid and peptides which provide hydration while strengthening skin barrier. I definitely recommend it to someone with mature skin. It is worth the splurge!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this moisturizer. I am very picky about my moisturizers because I have some hormonal issues that cause my skin to be oily and dry at the same time. It can be extremely frustrating trying to find a moisturizer that is not too heavy, but not too light. I think what makes this product so special is that it has such a lightweight feel and melts into the skin like butter. It almost has a gel like texture. Immediately after putting this on my face my skin looks plump, glowy, and healthy. I think it’s really awesome that It seems as though this product would work for all skin types. There is a light citrusy scent, but I have very sensitive skin and I did not have any reactions to this product. Overall I would highly recommend to someone looking to try out a higher end moisturizer that is extremely nourishing and refreshing while still feeling light on the skin. Fancy moisturizer is irritating?

To preface this, I have some of the most not-sensitive skin I've ever seen :). I went to bed and as I laid there, I noticed my face was kind of itchy and I also felt a slight burning sensation. I thought this was strange, but it didn't hurt badly and I sprayed my face with some hypochlorous acid and that soothed it.I didn't think anything more about it until I used this again last night. This time, I felt the burning instantly, and intense itching everywhere. I still had a hard time beliving it could be this cream, but nothing else was new in my skincare routine. I sprayed my face again with the hypochlorous acid and that only helped a little bit. My cheeks turned bright red and my right eyebrow actually had some sort of small welt next to it. When I woke up this morning, I was fine, but I'm giving the rest of my samples away. There is no way a luxury, expensive, hydrating moisturizer should be irritating in any way.

Fine on sensitive skin

The cream looked quite thick and I was pleasantly surprised that it went on smoothly over my face and neck. The product didn’t feel thick on my face it actually felt light. The smell was OK. It had a very slight smell of an SPF but it wasn’t enough to make me stop using it. I’ve been using this now for over a month and I have sensitive skin. I haven’t noticed any sensitivity reactions to the moisturizer whatsoever. That’s a huge plus in my book. While I do like the product I don’t like having to scrape out the moisturizer with my finger or nail.
