I absolutely love the Charlotte Tilbury matte lipsticks. Nothing in this planet looks or feels like they do it’s such a special formula. I refused to own any bullet lipsticks other than a couple byKilian and the infamous red shade from Armani but other than that I simply didn’t own anything other than liquid lipsticks. This woman understands complexion and lips that’s for sure because everything she puts out for the lips always not only looks beautiful but it feels so effortless to wear and the liners are creamy without being too much. They pair so well with the lipsticks and I don’t know how she does it but the lipsticks go on amazing. Look even more amazing once blotted and somehow as they wear down through the day each stage still continues to look beautiful. I don’t even reapply because I love the gradual fade throughout the day because it never looks bad it’s always a different level of beautiful flush on the lips. I can honestly say that I used to be all for collecting highlighters but once I tried walk of no shame from CT I was sold and I’ve been buying lip cheats and matte lipsticks in different shades left and right because I feel like I need all the colors. I sometimes put them on around the house for no reason just because they look so good that it’s like a little pick me up to feel pretty for yourself. This shade Mrs Kisses is perfection. On me it pulls this beautiful shade of muted slightly peachy nude. I’ve seen it look more peachy and lighter on darker skin and I’ve also seen the peachy shade look darker and not as peachy on people lighter than me but for me it’s the perfect medium it’s not dark and it’s not overly light peach where you debate a lipliner. I’ve never had a shade yet where I need a lip liner to make it look good. All the shades I’ve tried I used a lipliner because I wanted to or it was the matching lipliner that went with the lip. I can’t rave enough about this product or this shade even though the walk of no shame is still my favorite shade of all time. You can’t go wrong with any of these especially when this beautiful case and a few of her other cases are refillable so you can pop in whichever shade you desire to be in your favorite CT lipstick packaging.

Beautiful Golden coral for summer

For a while i have been eyeing this shade from CT and was on the fence but went ahead and purchased during pink sale. The shade is beautiful warm peachy coral. It will suit all skin tones, however in my opinion it would suit medium and olive tones better. Depending on lighting it can look more peachy than Coral sometimes. I also noticed some gold shimmer but you can not see it on swatch or lips but gives a little golden shine. In the picture below i am wearing the lipstick on my lips and cheeks as a blush both. I have praised this matte revolution formula is my past reviews as well. Its super comfortable moisturising matte and lovely to apply directly from bullet. The packaging is classic rose gold that i love ? Gorgeous formula and shades

I decided to use points to get two deluxe samples of these lipsticks to try them before committing to a full size. I was excited to receive a mini Pillow Talk lipstick as part of this year's VIB birthday gift. Supposedly the shade is a universally flattering nude pink. In my case, once the product was on my skin, it was neither flattering... nor nude... nor exactly pink.I have very fair skin (we're talking the lightest shade in most foundation / concealer ranges) with neutral-to-*slightly*-warm undertones. Unfortunately, Velvet Teddy looked nothing like Pillow Talk either. While the two shades look similar in the stick, M.A.C.'s "dupe" looks like more of a deep, warm spice on my lips, whereas Pillow Talk leans pale and cool.All in all, I wore Pillow Talk until the (micro) sample ran out; it's convenient to have a lightweight, small lipstick on hand... but it wasn't for me.On the plus side, the CT mini mascara that came in the birthday gift was great, and I've already repurchased! :D

The undertones are hit and mostly, miss. I look dead in all the shades that claim to be "universally flattering", such as the loved Pillow Talk collection. The staying power is dreadful, with reapplication needed every half hour. The matte formula is too firm, while the satin formula is smeary and odd. In conclusion, the charm of Charlotte tilbury products has well worn off, and looking at my vast collection, I obviously fell for the glamorous marketing and hyperbolic rhetoric that surrounds this entire brand. To me, I find that far more wasteful and unsustainable than purchasing a single luxury colour that you love and will wear to death. This lipstick is perfectly balanced in colour (it’s not “too much” of anything - it doesn’t look pink or brown or grey or orange - it looks like lips), and on my pale skin is the perfect “my lips but better” shade. If you love Velvet Teddy from MAC but find it much too dark and severe, then this is going to be perfect for you. It is a nude, but never makes you look washed out.Lastly, the formula is also amazing - it’s described as a matte, but it’s not totally flat, and is never drying. There is a creamy slip to it on the lips, and zero tugging when trying to swipe it on. The scent is a light vanilla, comparable to MAC, but less intense. I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out. Please never stop making this shade!!!
