Fantastic cooker. Gas is so controllable. No more burnt dishes. Really economical, 1 gas bottle lasts at least 6 months.worth going LPG. No service charges. Service at the Good Guys great.

the products online team were fantastic. I Will shop with them again. The stove had God and poor points. Good LPG...so hard to find a cost effective LPG oven now which can be needed when living in the bush. Stove top jets great even heat. Love the automatic starry of the jets now, even if the button in an awkward place. Oven cooks quickly my meals are great backed spuds etc perfect. i do have to move stuff around though if useing both shelves but I'm used to that. Poor points Do not get the stainless steel the top is really hard to clean and it scratches really easy I pretty careful but mine is scratched already. I'd swap mine if I could for the tried and true white one even though white is not a colour i want on a large appliances any more. The top has a oven heat breathing grill to close to the jets and pan spillage falls down easily and you can't get out. I resolved this by putting a tile over it while using the cook top only and taking it off when using the oven The rest is not bad for a cheaper oven it performs as good as some more expensive ones I've seen. Good enough

Does the job. The grill is slow to heat up and the grill plate/dish does not slide well. A light to indicate when the oven has reached the required temperature would have been good. Preheating the oven for 30 mins, no matter what temperature you have set it for seems like a waste of time and gas to me. Otherwise no complaints. Appliances Online are good to deal with however they wouldn't deliver to my home, I had to meet them at another address and transfer stove to my ute even although I live only 3 kms from a major highway.

Great but could be better

The unit it self looks feels and smells amazing although behind the rear cover some might call it the under carriage had far too many wires and couldn’t get it going for a while that is until I worked out if ran off lpg not 240v. All in all it is a fantastic Unit with all the trimmings missus left before we could cook our wedding cake but did cook an amazing spotted dick

Has everything I need

I hate cooking with electric products so the first part of the renovations was to replace with gas. Our cupboards are white so we wanted something that matched. Its a perfect size for our family and fits my oven trays well. The stove top is big enough for all my large pans at the same time which I wasnt expecting. Would certainly buy again.

Love my Freestanding Chef

Nice clean lines, the lip of the stove top is a good height when the grandchildren overflow a saucepan of liquid. Removable door for easy oven cleaning. I like the way the LPG automatically shuts off when no flame is detected also the extra lighting security (hold the knob on) until lit. Well designed safety for young and seniors, oh and all in-between.

Lovely cooker I am very pleased

I bought this a month ago. First time I have ever cooked in my home with gas after 50 years of electricity. I am enjoying the experience with this cooker. The oven cooks evenly and quickly (doing pizza and chips). I am very impressed with the top burners, they cook quickly. The small simmer one is terrific. I managed to cook poached eggs perfectly, and also brown rice which always burnt on the bottom with the electric, could never get it down low enough. Not this time, cooked the rice perfectly, which is not easy with brown rice. Have tried the grill with toast and tomato and cheese topping, and it cooked it very quickly and nicely. My old electric stove needed replacing, and I decided to install a gas stove because with the silly governments going over to so called renewables, and blowing up power stations, my opinion is that there will be a lot of blackouts in the future and I wanted to have a gas stove for cooking and warmth if this happened. I could be wrong. So I chose a gas stove with no electricity connection, although I see there are a lot of gas stoves with that. I am very pleased with my choice, it was a good price (actually the best one, beat Harvey Norman), and cooks everything that anyone could want, except maybe a gigantic turkey. I was very impressed with the delivery system, I was alerted by text several times and also email, with where the item was on delivery. The delivery chaps were very friendly and professional also unpacked the stove, and took away the cardboard and also my old electric stove, for free. I really appreciated that service, not having anyone to do this for me, I would have had to employ someone. I would shop again with Appliances Online because of the excellent delivery service, friendly staff, and taking away the old stove which none of the other shops in our city would do, I got several quotes first.

Perfect for a Small Kitchen

Just bought and had this installed this week. I love it. I needed a narrow cooker to replace my old one and at 54cm it's perfect. It's great that there are different size burners especially as I do a lot of stir fries in a big frypan. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a stove with wok burners etc., this has everything (except a light, it's all gas) even a separate griller. Highly recommend it for the price.

Simple and Effective

I purchased this freestanding Full Gas oven specifically for the no power requirement. I was fully aware there was No fan force and No alarm clock but zero power consumption was part of my search criteria to reduce ongoing power costs of my appliances. It cooks faster than my previous fan forced oven and the seperate gas grill is great. You just can't beat Gas cooking! I would have liked another shelf included for the oven and a piezo or a battery powered ignitor for the burners would be my only request but a long BBQ lighter is very effective. Very easy to light all features of oven. If you're looking for a full gas oven without all the bells and whistles this is it!

What I needed

I needed a stove that would work without an electricity connection and this suited. I had the same earlier-model Chef stove as this that was 15 years old before buying this one. It had done well and was still working when I 'upgraded' to this newer model. It fit into the exact same mounting plate so install was easy. The larger gas burner sometimes lights with a bit flame-woof that is not ideal if the kids are lighting it, but it stove and oven cooks really well. No complaints and is a great unit for those with limited options needing a no-electricity unit.
