The heat output on "Power" is great and it does heat the correct pots well. Had to retire some of my old favourite stainless steel pots. Tried the Induction Hob Converter Heat Diffuser Disc with mixed results. It is best to get the right pots and pans. It is easy to clean and does look good. Subscribing to the "KISS principle" - I still think, fixed dials for each element would be an advantage as you always have to confirm which element you want to adjust which is not intuitive and often results in the incorrect element being adjusted. Otherwise happy with the purchase.

Induction Cooktops keep getting better and more compelling. The Chef induction cooktop is very good and great value. It heats quickly but can also simmer very smoothly. The cooktop can be wiped clean, and as the top itself does not get hot, it is safe around children. All the energy goes into the cooking, and is not wasted as excess heat around the sides.

I bought this appliance a couple of months ago and haven't had any problems with it.I only have a couple of points to make:1. I would rather like a sliding scale of temperature-control instead of having to press the "-" & "+" as the constant pressing is not very effective, and2. If I keep the power on at the wall-switch the chances of accidentally turning on the appliance are high if something comes in contact with the onscreen power switch.Other than these 2 points it is an excellent appliance.

I had to purchase new saucepans to suit, although told I wouldn’t have to but that’s the only problem. No spills to clean up, I really just enjoy cooking now.
We selected this cooktop when renovating our kitchen. It looks great, heats extremely quickly and has some great safety features. You can't turn anything on by accident, you get an alert when a pan is removed and the hotplate is still on. There is a warning light while the hotplate cools. Easy to use and keep clean.

Was drawn to buy the Chef 60cm induction cooktop as it appeared to offer just what I needed. Chef is very safe and has good features that remind me of heat intensity and heat cooling and cooks extremely well. Am well pleased with my Chef investment.
We bought this to increase the energy efficiency in our house. I'm extremely pleased with the speed with which it heats up and cools down and having quickly mastered the functions am enjoying using it. A great buy for us!
I bought this induction cooktop a few months ago. Before this, I used two induction cooktops, which broke down under two years. I hope this one will last longer. Compared with the other two, this one does not have the convenient function of a timer.
My new induction cook top is great. Cannot believe how quickly the heat arrives and then cools down. Looks fabulous. Easy to clean. Easy to follow instructions. Great price from Harvey Norman. Took a little while to get used to - but I love it. I would high recommend this product.
