The cooktop seems to work well enough but the black surface needs lots of polishing to stop it looking smeary all the time. Also the surface seems to mark easily just from having saucepans sit over the element.

Is bigger than I expected for the old stove top that I had to replace, but I'm loving it as I can use bigger pots and has lots of room to move pots and pans around without feeling cluttered. Also heats up so fast.
We ordered the cook top from Bing Lee. We were told it was ready for pick up. Drove all the way there but the cook top was nowhere to be seen. No contact from Bing Lee for nearly 7 days, so I rang and cancelled the order and requested my money back. And now you ask me for a review, REALLY. ??????
We’ve had a chef cooktop for 16 years prior to buying this one without any issues at all but needed another after accidentally cracking glass on corner.This meets the criteria , no bells and whistles, but heats quickly and easy to wipe clean. My only detractor would be even after very few uses the glass seems to have changed color over heat pads, no amount of cleaning seems to change this.
I have owned the Chef 4 Zone now for just on a month, it is simple, great heat from the plates, and temperature control is good. The unit comes with a tool and great tips on how to keep it clean and keep the unit looking it's best.I have no problems recommending this cook top at all. Simple, easy to understand and value for money .
We have replaced this brand of 90cm cooktop x4 times - I wouldnt have kept using the same brand except I couldnt find another 90cm electric cooktop to replace the hole in the bench top. On top of the rubbish service we received I would never buy again
The glass surface is easy to clean and looks great. The cooktop heats up quickly and meets our needs well
We purchased the Chef Cooktop just over a month ago and have found it does all we want. It heats quickly and is easy to clean. It is one of the few that fitted our space left by old cooktop. Since our kitchen space is rather small we didn’t want to go any bigger. We are very pleased with our purchase
