Great sifting

I liked that it is small and compact and sifts very well. So much better than my 40year old sifter!

Handy for sifting smaller quantities of fine-textured ingredients

Pluses -- Well-made & sturdy. Excellent for sifting & dusting fine ingredients up to 2-3 cups. Compact design. Minuses -- Return springs are strong, making its use difficult especially for anyone with weak hands. Unsuitable for coarser ingredients like wholemeal flour -- much of the bran gets trapped between the dual mesh screens, and the unit cannot be dismantled for cleaning out.

This performs very well

This performs very well and appears sturdy and well constructed. My only criticism is it would be extremely useful if there were indicators for each cup measure to eliminate the need to first measure the flour before sifting.
