I am a big fan of biltong but most other biltong brands I’ve tried before Chief Nutrition were a little too fatty. I know some people like their biltong fatty for the flavour it has but as a gym junkie I wanted lean biltong without sacrificing the authentic flavour. And Chief Nutrition is what I’ve found. Lean but full of flavour! Just a little pricy compared to some other brands but I’m willing to pay for the quality.

This and other chief products have been an absolute godsend for me since I started on a health kick including a high protein diet. These are so convenient and a great easy healthy source of protein. I have them at home sometimes with meals and other times I’m snacking on them at the park with my kid or in the car. The quality is amazing and they taste delicious. I buy them on a subscription now. Your biltong is the best I’ve had! And I’ve tried many different brands. The flavour balance is perfect. Most others have way too much vinegar.The texture and chew is perfect also, other brands I’ve found to chewy, or real tough and stringy.I love the small portioned size amounts also. Oh my God. This stuff is incredible. I’ve always been grossed out by jerky type products but this biltong is so amazing! The texture is a bit like Parma ham or prosciutto, very tender and tasty. It’s not spongy or dry at all. And the flavor is delicious! Not too spiced, just like a slight hint of pepper. It’s so good! I received my sampler pack and tried one bag of the plain and I’m already jumping online to get a dozen. This will surpass my love of the collagen bars. DEF TRY IT!!
It felt like took a while to deliver my order. I’d have preferred more email updates on the status of my order. I’m used to this from Amazon and other online retailers. I don’t like the taste or texture of the biltong bars (although I eat biltong every day). I do like the collagen bars though. Also the packaging is good and appears eco-friendly.
I initially bought the sample pack to try everything, but kept going back to the Hazelnut Brownie. It’s my standout favourite flavour and texture. My boys like the traditional meat flavours. Very happy that the snacks aren’t filled with DATES or fruit. I get reactions from so many snacks, but none with these. Very happy! Will be buying regularly from now on. Great delivery.
This popped up on my instagram feed and it looked pretty tasty, but what really drew my attention was the fact it doesn't have any garlic. It is very hard to find savoury snacks these days that don't have garlic in them.I ordered a sampler pack that had 2 original and 2 chilli, it was well priced and shipped really fast. It was a bit over packaged (4 packs of biltong in a bag inside a box with air bubbles.)I tried the original first and it is quite tasty, there is a mixture if very thin slices and some chunky bits as well. Next I tried the chilli and it is definitely my favourite with a good flavour and a bit of heat without being over the top.This is a great Aussie product and I will be ordering again for sure.

Absolutely love ordering your batches of chief Biltong. It is so moist and not hard to chew at all. It's incredibly tasty. Love knowing I can eat a healthy protein snack. Perfect for taking with an apple into work. The chief protein keeps me super full and aids in maintaining a healthy diet.
