I had to use my entire sample before writing this review because there are so many layers to Nomade Absolu I had different impressions at different times. The citrus top notes of the mirabelle plum with light floral and the slight herbal (?) soon intermingling is a nice surprise and it’s those shifts into the woodsy scent that I really enjoy. It’s almost like a different experience depending on which part of the body you put it on so it’s hard to put your finger on which notes and combos you’re getting all at once. In the beginning I didn’t think I was going to like it and by the time it was gone I wanted more so it definitely grew on me. It has great staying power, one or two sprays is all you would need for the day. Nomade is the perfect name for this scent, it definitely takes your senses on a journey! Now I have to go buy this Chloé scent as a birthday present to myself to match the Chloé bag I bought myself for Christmas! It’s not an addiction, I can stop whenever I want! 😉

I bought this as a “blind buy” by reading the notes of the fragrance (Mirabelle plum, oak moss and sandalwood) and I’m not sorry. This is somehow mysterious, sexy, crisp, creamy yet clean and comforting all in one. To me, it’s the perfect Autumn fragrance. It has a slight masculine feel compared to other Chloe fragrances. To me this is a complex and full bodied scent and it lasts all day on me! I get many compliments on this.

It’s difficult to properly review the product as a whole since I can’t comment on the look/packaging and if that adds to the overall value of the product. According to the product information there are notes of sweet mirabelle/cherry plum to bring a juicy dimension, aromatic davana as a fruity element, and notes of sensual oak moss and sandalwood to give it warmth and woodiness. At times it smelled manly, a bit like musky cologne and then other times I would get a whiff of “old lady” almost like a musky, fragranced powder! I feel like maybe it’s better suited for older women, but scent is a very personal thing. It’s a high end perfume brand so of course it’s on the pricier side. The 1.7 oz. bottle retails for $115.00, so definitely make sure to test it out or get a sample before purchasing.

The picture of the bottle is pretty cute and looks like mostly sustainable packaging. I look at the ingredients and there are quite a few. What catches my eye are all of the color choices. They put three different color additives to get a simple color of a perfume. NoW I don’t know about you but I know of perfume being absorbed by the skin and I also know that colorings also absorb and are toxic. Some people are more sensitive than others and I just happen to be somebody who sensitive. I can’t notice a difference from just a few sprays but I have had to reapply just an hour after my first application. The scent is floral, fruity and of course light. The inside of the perfume card says “the most intense interpretation of nomade. The crisp of cherry plum, enriched by the fruity facets of davana and a warm, sensual oak moss accord.” Now I don’t know about you but I don’t know what any of that means and I do not pull any of those scents out of it but I am not saying that they are not in it. It does smell good but at that price I would never buy that for myself let alone as a gift. I like it enough that I would use a tester if I was passing it but it’s just too dang expensive to have it not last long.

I live and I LOVE!! 1-2 sprays is enough or this scent is too much. Wear it day and or night. It's fresh. It's bold, but quietly confident. A mossy, earthy, sweet mirabelle plum, powdery, musky, fruity scent. Somehow, it's almost like a leathery, sweet, freshwater Coconut plum scent that doesn't turn sour. But it will if worn during the wrong season. This one here has allllllll the projection and will smell sweaty in humid temperatures. Don't give sweat sock. Don't wear this in the summer. Best in the late fall/winter months. 💕💕💕When I first started wearing it, I felt it leaned more masculine woodsy, so I'd pair it with a different rose based fragrance. I've since fully embraced Absolu for all of her Nomade mossy moods.

It’s very feminine and is richly sweet but not in the usual trending fruit/sweet perfumes like Burberry Her. It really is hard to put this scent into words but I‘ll try! The davana in this one doesn’t turn bitter. Rather it’s more like a damp dark earthy smell, in the best way! I also have the original and it has the Nomade DNA but both are different enough to warrant owning both! It’s like the EDP is the “Golden Hour Nomade” and the Absolu is the “Witching Hour Nomade” but both can be worn at any time, any season and will perform wonderfully! Luxurious... Delicious!

I love this unique, sensual fragrance! Works well with my body chemistry. I go easy, just a dab on wrist pulse points & that's enough to linger all day into the evening. Special occasions &/or evening, I may dab a little behind ears & neck. The Mirabelle plum is what I get first, dries down later so the musk & sandalwood notes blend with it. Not too sweet, not too musky... just divine! I feel it's good for any time of day, as well, but depending on one's personality, others' may feel it's more of a night-time, special occasion scent.
