I have also tested other "blue scents" that can easily rival or even easily win me over. Lastly, it's a very basic scent! Which don't get me wrong, it's not bad at all. I javelin just gotten to the point where I'm always looking for something new that moves me. That speaks to me and peaks my interest. I feel like I praised this fragrance too much just because I always seemed compliments when I was younger but as time has gone by, I have learned to appreciate and enjoy fragrances myself. Enjoy the creativity behind far more intriguing scents than this. Again I'm not trying to hate on it because it still has my respect for being one of my first designer fragrances and for leaving me impressed that day I bought it. Shower gel esque smell that makes you smell clean or as if you have gotten out of the shower. Whats not to like about that! Like with anything though, we grow out of it and we mature. In this case, my nose has matured and is in the journey of always finding something new and interesting. In conclusion, enjoy what you like to wear and wear it with confidence. Don't let anyone's perception or view about things (including mine) dictate what you should or shouldn't like. This is a beautiful hobby that can start with any fragrance, no matter the price tag or scent profile. That's the beauty of it all!
