Our dog really enjoys chasing this ring! It took me a minute or two to master picking the ring up off the ground with the launcher - but otherwise no issues. Derby (our Chocolate Lab, born on the day of the Kentucky Derby) loves to catch the ring on the bounce, or run it down as it rolls down the lawn.Unfortunately, the neighbor's grandson came back with the launcher, but had "no idea" where the ring ended up. My boy loves this ring so much he carries it everywhere. definitely a toy where supervision is needed as it's not the strongest but we've had so many fun times with this toy and only bringing it out when we intend to play with it has made it last for 6+ months and i have a staffy with a very strong jaw

Our Mini Dachshund absolutely loves his Chuckit Ring and would play all day with it if we let him. We were looking for an alternative to a ball as he's had one canine tooth removed and the ball falls out of the mouth since the tooth was taken out. The ring is easy for him to pick up and carry around and when used with the Chuckit flinger it really does go a long way with an interesting bounce pattern.

I have a dog that is VERY energetic yet gets bored easily with dog toys. I'm happy to report that I think I found my solution with this Chuckit! Ultra Ring Launcher Fetch dog toy! The handle/launcher is easy enough to use and makes for a great throw. The ring itself carries well and is very erratic once it hits solid ground - grabbing my dog's attention with each and every bounce. He doesn't chew on it that long either, maybe he gets bored with it being still? All I know is that his attention is right back on it as soon as I get it and toss it for him again. It's good exercise for both of us, and quality entertainment for me!
This is the best interactive toy ever purchased. The ring goes so far, mimics a squirrel with it’s erratic bouncing. Don’t listen to reviews about it being difficult. Read the instructions and just hold it the right direction. Then it is so easy to throw and goes sooo far. Such a great alternative to tennis balls. And you can rinse it off. If you press on the inner portion of the ring with the launcher it tilts slightly and is easy to pick up hands free. Learn to use it and your pup will be eternally grateful. Even our pit bulls dog gets involved because of her natural prey drive. This really engages all dogs, even lazy and non-retriever breeds. Buy it and you will see it’s the best money spent. Put away ring when done, it’s not for chewing - it’s for chasing!
For years I have had a problem with my dog fetching his toys or even a stick. I would throw his toy or a stick, he would return with a different toy and/or stick. Now with Chuckit! Ringchaser I will throw it across the yard and he brings the ring right back. The design of the Chuck it! Ringchaser is innovative! The easy throwing motion is great I no longer throw my shoulder out of sack. I love that it's slobber free! Chuck it! Ringchaser is really the ultimate fetching toy!
There Chuck It Ring Chaser is a great way to play with your dog. Not only does it give your furry friend exercise, it gives you the opportunity to bond with one another. The ring when thrown goes pretty far and the handle is easy to use. I enjoy how durable the ring is made for when my dog stops to chew on it instead of bringing it back! Good quality is important for future use in this great playtime! I recommend this to any fellow dov parent that wants to get exercise and quality time with your best friend!

My dogs don't like the ring. When we first got this, they were so excited to play with this but after the first throw, they didn't want to pick up the ring. All of their other toys are a lot softer and the other toy launchers we have didn't have something this hard. The only negative thing I have with this launcher, is again the rubber ring. It is heavy and bounces on some surfaces. If thrown with enough force, it could break something. So don't use it in the house and try not to throw it towards any walls or any body. Besides my dogs issues with it, it is a decent toy and I would recommend it to people who's dogs are use to toys made from this type of rubber.
What a great toy. It has a lot going for it despite some limitations i.e. you can only pick it in a very specific way and only at a very specific angle but it is a lot of fun. The only serious complaint I have I is the length of the handle it is too short for picking form the ground without bending!!! It has to be at least the same size as M / L size ball launchers. Do not understand the shorter handles as the primary role is to pick it up form the ground. throwing distance has no relevance as can be controlled by the person :-)
My lab/retriever loves this toy. It is very sturdy so I don't see it breaking anytime soon, unlike the many balls I have replaced.I would recommend it for a high energy, ball crazy dog.
