I purchased this FETCH IT stick for a DASCHUND. Have been trying to teach her to fetch and bring the item back. This is a large stick. Seems durable. I would advice this stick for a larger sized dog. Lucy really liked it and tried her hardest to chew on it but it is hard for her to hold onto. Also seems like a larger sized dog would like to play fetch with it.

It’s Christmas morning and I’m writing a review because this was the only toy my dog did not chew through / rip apart in a matter of minutes! She was able to continue chewing on it barely leaving a mark - the soft flexible texture is great. We can’t wait to play fetch with it outside. Definitely will be checking out the other products.

This is a really cool dog toy. It is a little smaller than I had pictured it to be. But that wasn't all that bad. Has some weight to it, and it is very durable and hardy. A great throwing/retrieving stick. I was amazed at how far it throws. Works great even in the water. Very easy to clean. And withstands my German shepherds chewing habits, as he sometimes enjoys keeping sticks to himself rather than play. This stick may not be all that big but its awesome. I now know why pet parents enjoy the chuck it brand so much.

My dog loves the Chuckit balls. He can chew them for hours and they look brand new. That is why I was so excited when I saw this stick. My dog had a great time chewing it but it only lasted about 20 minutes until it cracked and fell apart. I guess it is not made out of the same material as the balls. Disappointed.

They are excellent substitutes for real bones, which tear and injure dogs (this applies to cooked bones - almost all bones are safe if they are raw). This dog toy are designed to bite small fragments that won't harming your dog as they pass through. Note: As with all chew items, keep a dog under constant surveillance while she/he eats. Always pay attention to the blood (sometimes these bones are bitten into sharp edges and cut your dog's gums - usually not a big problem, but pay attention to it). I was a little confused by this item and I could tell my dog was too. We live on 12 acres of wooded land so there is never a shortage of real sticks. My dog loves chasing sticks and often swims to retrieve them from the river as well. The only problem with real sticks is they sometimes have sharp ends that make me nervous seeing them in his mouth and there are small pieces that end up scattered around the porch. With this stick that isn't a problem. Even if my dog was interested in playing with this stick, he wouldn't be leaving pieces all over the place. Unfortunately, when I offered it to my dog, he looked at me with so much confusion that even tossing into the air wasn't enough draw for him to care.
This lasted less than 15 minutes with my 2 year old English Bulldog. She is a power chewer and has several Chuckit balls that she loves to fetch. Thought I'd try something a bit different and get the fetch stick. Had it delivered. Pulled it out of the packaging and gave it to her. Within 15 minutes she had already torn a hole where the blue and orange parts meet. Was hoping for something a bit more sturdy. She's been to the ER twice in her life already for ingesting objects so I have to be picky. Sticking to the balls.
My dogs love this toy! I have a pit that’s an aggressive chewer and can chew through almost any toy. This stick holds up pretty well but not nearly as good at the ball. Regardless it’s cheap and still does the job pretty well!
This toy is fun for the whole family. The toy is tough enough to stand up to her chewing. We have a big time getting in the front yard with this toy. She loves playing fetch. She loves to fetch it and then run with it. We have so much fun. It wears both of us out. We both need a nap after playing with this wonderful toy.
Great indoor stick for our superchewer Golden Retriever! He chews it solo, he'll fetch it, and play tug-of-war with us (and it's holding together!). Excellent purchase for us! Highly recommend!
