I'm not a massive coffee fan but the machine I bought really gets used a lot, especially when I have visitors. Brilliant to start with. Loved the coffee, though the pods are pricey and there are no cheaper options. But after 7 months it started leaking coffee from underneath somewhere. Went through lengthy complicated process with Nespresso CS, which didn't help, except leaking was more intermittent. Then this week, 9 months in, the flashing red light indicates machine error and there's no way to remedy it. It won't make coffee. I can apparently take it back to JL for repair and might get a loan machine. Fed up and disappointed. Don't be fooled you'll get money back under the guarantee if it goes wrong - you won't.
For the first 9 months I had trouble free coffee making, then the red lights started.I wasted numerous capsules sometimes 5 to make one coffee.Was shocked when Nespresso said my machine was broken and I could a have a 'preloved' machine delivered next day or my machine fixed, which would take up to 3 weeksPreloved, prebroken, preused, prewarrantyclaim.Can't quite believe that for a global brand like this, their warranty is so bad. I almost laughed when jumping through their warranty process, I needed to empty the used capsule tray and refill the water. It seems they are well aware of how fragile these lovely looking machines are. JL warranty on these are 30 days which probably says it all...Overall very disappointed.

I am very happy with just a few minor points. The machine is a little noisy when brewing. I hadn't completely realised you can only get the capsules for this direct from Nespresso which is easy enough but a bit restrictive. Honestly, as a lover of coffee, this has saved me a fortune in coffee shop coffees. The machine is very easy to set up and use and the nespresso coffees are simply delicious. The sample pack of capsules that come with the machine help to identify your perfect taste of capsules and re-ordering is very easy.A steal of a price for a nifty machine. Well worth the purchase.My only niggle is that the machine sits quite low if you prefer to use taller mugs for your coffee. I've had to remove the drip tray to fit my favourite mug underneath but other than that no gripes.
