Citizen somehow struck a fantastic balance of cramming features into the watch while still making the time quickly legible at-a-glance. The hands and hour markings are generously coated with photo luminous paint, which glow brightly after exposure to sunlight. Also the way Citizen used a matte white finish on the hour/minute hands themselves and the background of the mode indicator and 24-hour markings. The low reflective material makes the hands appearance pop, but I wish Citizen had painted the "SUN" day-of-week marker in white (for visibility's sake) and the second hand in red (for a little extra visual pop), but that's far from a deal breaker. Love the combination of the blue dial and the brushed stainless finish. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe this particular model was never sold within the US, making it even more desirable to a collector. Plus, it's a Citizen Eco Drive Radio Controlled watch, and other then when traveling from one time zone to another, you never have to fuss with the settings. That's particularly nice when you live in a country that still adheres to the ridiculous daylight savings system.
Beautiful dial, love the color. Band and case are great. Night illumination is surprisingly good.
