The dial colour really pops - it’s a warm buttery, sunny summer colour that catches the light beautifully. This is a lot of watch for the money: sapphire crystal, a reliable, not bad looking and very serviceable Miyota (owned by Citizen) automatic movement (as used by many a more expensive micro-brand), display case back, good quality solid link integrated steel bracelet, contemporary design, and good accuracy and ergonomics. If I had to quibble, and at this price, that’s not entirely fair, the power reserve of 40 hours is a bit low, the deployant clasp is a touch lightweight, and the Citizen watch box the watch comes in is pretty insubstantial. Oh, and no printed instructions.I’m not entirely sure how Citizen makes money on this one. Get one whilst you can!

I purchased the light Blue Tsuyosa, love the color, style of the watch, that I purchased the yellow version. This Tsuyosa is bright and happy. Both these watches remind me of a sunny day. They can be worn as a formal or casual watch. I like the location of the crown. It doesn’t dig into your wrist. I just wish they would have it protrude another 2mm, to make it easier to manipulate. I would highly recommend getting one!

I love my yellow face watch. It’s a statement piece. The statement from Citizen is why in your right mind would you pay way more for similar watches that are probably not as good? Or simply not obtainable? My watch is running 1 second per day fast on the 4th consecutive day I’m wearing it. I paid under $400.It looks gorgeous and compares in every way to watches I own that cost over $2000 on gray market sites…meaning list prices way higher. It’s polished beautifully. It has heft not too light. But not heavy either. The magnifier is cool. And the bracelet has a micro-adjuster. I love that.Honestly this watch is an intelligence test in my opinion.

Great automatic movement watch for the price. Stylish homage to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual and Datejust. Clasp is kinda cheap looking but no sharp edges of flexing. Presidential-style bracelet wears well with no hair pulling or pinching. Movement for me was about +/-20 seconds. a day which not good but for the price not TOO bad. Crown is placed at slightly hidden by the case and more difficult to use than ones in the usual 3 O'clock position but not too hard to use with a fingernail. It does have hacking. Sapphire crystal on the front. Open case back. Price makes it possible to buy different dial colors. Would buy again.
This is my third Citizen watch. I have owned Omega, Breitling and Rolex watches over the years and for the money you just can’t beat Citizen. Eco-Drive and Automatics keep much better time than Rolex, super functional and affordable for everyone. The TSUYOSA model is great for sport or dress, look great and Citizen watches last forever. In my opinion simple and dependable is much better than complicated and expensive. Don’t hesitate to purchase one, you won’t regret it.
I was interested in the Tissot Gent Powermatic 80, and curious about the PRX. I stumbled across this watch while looking at Christmas sales and was immediately interested. I typically expect Citizen to use Eco Drive movements which makes me less interested in them, but they actually used the Miyota for this reference and it’s amazing. The view back is beautiful and the watch really shows well in person. Also very comfortable on the wrist.
My Tsuyosa watch arrived on time and intact. I did however have to put an additional link to the band. I love the self-winding. The set steam if perfectly located at the "4 o'clock position which prohibits it from digging into your wrist or arm. It didn't come with an operators manual but all i had to do was call support help and they emailed me one. Oh yes, i also love the snap closing hinge to lock the wristband. It was pricey compared to my local chain store but if i get 10 years out of this warch, it would equal the price i would spent on kocal purchasesSelf winding so no battery purchases GREAT investment.
Bought this to add to my collection of Automatics. Great looking watch! Had it fitted before delivery.Had a local watch maker add two links back in as it was sized exactly, too snug, and the clasp adjustments were used up. It fits fine now. Very comfortable. Accuracy doesn't even come close to my Eco-Drive watches. It’s usually fast by 10-15 seconds a day. The seconds hand is essentially invisible and the lume is just OK. Date window is excellent. I’ll consider this more of a fashion item than a serious timekeeper. Setting and winding, when needed, are a little tricky due to the small recessed crown.Shipping was fast and easy. And the watch’ biz anf pillow are very nice.My best timekeeper is a recently purchased Totanium Eco-Drive that seldom gains or loses one ... MoreBought this to add to my collection of Automatics. It’s usually spot on and needs only some light to keep going.I gave it four stars because of the above mentioned shortcomings but still enjoy looking at it’s red dial and integrated bracelet.
Before purchasing this watch I occasionally wore another citizen chronograph watch. I love that one for special occasions such as weddings because it looks really nice with a suit. However, that case is a little too big for my wrist and I wanted something to wear everyday aside from my Apple Watch. I wasn’t overly sure how well the 40mm case would be on my wrist but it is perfect. I definitely recommend measuring your wrist for the band size. I measured mine and it came out to 190mm I ordered it with the specific band size and it fit perfectly right out of the box. The watch functions beautifully and I love the look of it. I consider it a win.
All the people complaining about the crown dont understand the design language, its done on purpose so it blends in to the case and gives a slim silhouette and there’s nothing wrong with the cyclops, its ample magnification. The watch is perfect. Some people complain about the size, it’s just perfect. I have tried smaller sized integrated bracelet watches and frankly they all look like ladies watches. As a guy I’d rather a slightly larger watch than looking like wearing a ladies watch.
