I really like that these have 100% of the daily value of Calcium per day. I rarely drink milk or any other items with Calcium in them so finding a supplement that can provide that needed amount daily is important to me. What I don’t like is I have to take four caplets a day to achieve it! I always look for vitamins and supplements that I only need to take once a day and preferably one pill a day. With these I have to take two caplets twice a day. As you can see from the photo they are a larger caplet also. I found they are easy to swallow and they don’t upset my stomach, which is good, but I also often forget to take the second dose of them each day because my other vitamins and supplements are once a day. I received this product complimentary from Influenster and Citracal in exchange for my honest review. Citracal Calcium Supplement Maximum Plus can be taken with or without food. The caplets are pretty big, but they are easily absorbed and gentle on the digestive system. Citracal also is rich in collagen supporting minerals to support your bones. Citracal has (1000IU) of Vitamin D3 per serving to help my body absorb calcium. Citracal has Zinc, Copper, and Manganese to support bone health. Citracal is good for me, especially on those days when I may not get enough calcium into my daily diet. I have to try and keep my bones strong and give them the nutrients that it needs daily. I would purchase Citracal in the future.

I get plenty of zinc, copper and manganese in my diet so don’t need to risk the GI side effects. Now if Citracal could make the slow release in their petite size I would be a loyal lifetime customer.

Then I read the ingredients. Titanium Dioxide is listed to give it the bright white color. Plus, the caplets are HUGE measuring at close to one inch long each! Not to mention how wide they are. It was extremely hard to get these down. These vitamins would be great if they were smaller and did not include the titanium dioxide. I received this product complimentary from Influenster to test and review. I have tried other calcium pills recommended by my dentist hygienist to support bone health. This product not only has calcium vitamin D, but additionally contains other micronutrients to support bone health. This is a practical way to implement nutrients into my diet. I have one pill after breakfast and the other after dinner. I will definitely be purchasing this product again. It is of high quality and meets my expectations. if you don't get enough calcium I highly recommend these. they are so easy on my stomach even without food. they are great to help with bones.
