I used a barrier cream on my face and it helped however once I had applied all the colour I removed all colour that may have gone on my skin around my face neck and ears. I think this was necessary as the colour worked quickly. I really enjoyed the product. I really like that there is a further step to follow two weeks later to refresh the colour and keep it bold and bright even longer. I most definitely will be using this product by Clairol again.

I received this item from BeautyCrew to trial and the colour I chose was Brown Sugar. I'm a dark brunette and beginning to get grey and had some leftover colour from the summer/ages ago where the sun had lightened my hair, so I wanted to even out the colour and colour the greys. My texture of my hair is fine and length is shoulder length, so I wasn't sure if one box would be enough but it was. I was a bit worried the ammonia scent would be overpowering but it actually wasn't. My hair successfully has been dyed and there's no straggler greys left and it's perfectly even. Texture is nice and it's shiny. Overall, super pleased with this box dye and would recommend and would purchase.

I got this colouring kit in the shade Pina Colada and it has left my hair a vibrant golden creamy blonde. My hair is naturally a light brown but I normally have it coloured in salon. This product is a great alternative to in salon colouring and it did not leave my hair brassy or orange. It is very easy to use the kit and follow the instructions to colour. You put the cream tube into the activator and shake it up until combined. If you have long hair you will need two packets to ensure your head is fully covered in product. The product is easy to blend into hair and I left on for 30 minutes and achieved a creamy blonde. Do wear an old shirt and have a towel on shoulders to ensure you don't damage your clothing. I found the product easy to rinse out and it did not leave any residue. I really loved the conditioner provided, it has a sweet coconut scent and is a good consistency. The conditioner is thick but it is easy to apply and rinses out well without leaving any residue. My hair was surprisingly soft after leaving the conditioner in for a few minutes despite the colour treatment. The kit comes with everything you need to achieve the perfect shiny colour and it comes with aftercare product of a colour glaze to extend the shine and colour of your hair two weeks after colouring. Overall I would highly recommend this kit as it saves a visit to the salon and achieves salon like results. My mum is looking forward to me doing her hair with another kit also. Fantastic value kit that brings confidence through shiny vibrant hair. My hair is shining bright and I am feeling confident.
